The sink was cute but awkward to use, I would have loved to have a bench or chair outside my room to sit on, and a chair inside the room.

Construction still underway. THe AC in our room only ran at one speed - high. I'm thankful we had it the firat day and night but then it got cold and loud. I feel like this will be fixed once the room's renovations are complete. I think the room was put into use early for spring break week.

Perfect beach Inn appearance. I felt like it was part of a book description. Newly renovated room was charming, clean and crisp. Front desk staff in the evening was wonderful. He's the only one we met.

Price

The location was great but so are a lot of other hotels that are brand new and have a lot of amenities. Dry Dock should not be charging these hotel prices. We are willing to give up amenities for a more affordable price.

The Dry Dock Inn is an amazing place to stay at while vacationing at Carolina Beach. The Inn is located in what I consider a prime area. It's within walking distance to the Boardwalk, the Lake, along with other places to eat. This saved us from having to drive anywhere and not to mention, not having to pay to park. My car never moved until it was time to leave. Check in was a smooth transition being via text. Uploaded my information, paid my refundable security deposit and got my code. Once I arrived I found my parking pass and the room was very clean. It's a cute place and I absolutely love the common area. We spent several hours every day out there enjoying the peace and quiet. The beds were soft, water pressure was amazing. I had the BEST hot shower. The towels, wow, they were the softest I've ever had and trust me, I've traveled all across the USA and have never had towels this soft (they beat the Hilton too). I actually met Cameron and he was so nice and sweet. We felt very welcomed and valued staying here. They would check in on us daily to ensure our needs were being met. I highly recommend this place and I will be back. Thank you Dry Dock Inn for a relaxing no stress stay.

Kids above us was running all day n night. At night the adults pounded the floor all night along with the kids. We contacted the front desk and was told kids will be kids. The 1st night we let it go but we contacted the front desk the 2nd night. Was told quiet time was at 11 which I knew we had contacted early but just wanted to get ahead of it since it had been going all night n day. Clerk came to our room and heard what was going on n told us he would go up there n address it but unfortunately kids would be kids. But if it happened after 11 we could contact him at the number in the binder in our room. We didn't even bother after that just got up early next morning n left. Just didn't think it was fair we paid to stay there and had to deal with unruly guests. I understand kids cause we have 2 ourselves, but under no circumstance would we ever allow them to interrupt other guest like that during our stay any where.

Excellent for the price. Rooms were nice and spacious.

Had to pay 2xtra deposits. Beyond ridiculous and an unexpected cost. If I had know I would have cancelled my stay! Plus there was a no smoking rule but found an employee smoking around the corner of the building outside of the office! No ICE NO ICE on the property! Seriously for the amount of money I payed for the 1 room hideaway! Why is there no ice on the property? The shower was very slow and no need to adjust the water because the hot water was mildly hot. Idk where the heat was because we only had air conditioning in a 40* night.

Drawers smelled so bad they stink up the room when you open them, but the trash is in them so you have to. Shower pressure and temperature was awful. Door wouldn't lock. Said they credited my $100 deposit back but it showed as an expense so I had to contact my bank.
