Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed was hard. Now, my wife liked it. And, I get it. A firmer mattress lasts longer. Just wasn't a favorite, for me. If my wife wrote this, it would be different.
It is a nice, clean, fairly comfortable place. The rates were very good for a clean motel across the street from a beach access causeway. Great food was all within walking distance. Kids were enjoying the pool. It was a nice place. I will go again if life presents me the opportunity.

It can be a little noisy at night, nothing too bad though.
The location was super close to public beach access, multiple restaurants, and bars. The staff were super friendly checking in. The room was clean.

We traveled overnight, arrived at 4 in the morning, and called the person on night shift to see if we could check in early and he said no unless you pay an extra $200 even though we only spent $80 for one night. That was kind of upsetting and confusing because he never explained what the $200 would have been for. We would've understood if there was like a small fee for checking in early, but I really don't think he could've told us a good enough reason for it to be $200. It left a sour taste in our mouths.
It was very nice on the inside and very cozy. And I forgot her name, but the front desk lady that was working the morning of the 17th was so sweet and helpful. Definitely will come back here

My reservation said breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast. The room was fine, but not worth the $200 per night that I had to pay.
The location was fantastic. Staff were great!

There is coffee in the office but no breakfast items. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, however.
The room was very clean. It had a microwave, typical one-cup coffee maker, and a larger than usual fridge. Travel-sized lotion, soap, shampoo/conditioner were provided.

The staff was really kind and helpful, location was perfect, pool was clean and refreshing, the only reason I didn’t give a 10 is the pillows were not great.

The floors were a little dirty, but it was the beach. The TV did not work did not come on with the power or the power button on the TV or the remote
Facility was clean rooms were small, but cozy. The location was excellent. The price was a great value.

Clean at a decent price. Desk person was super nice and gave a lot of information about the area. Only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Parking is free at hotel you pay for parking everywhere even on the street so free parking is a plus.

Not much that we didn't like. The only thing was the shower leaked water because of how it was designed and the bathroom smelled a bit weird after the water leaked onto the floor.
We loved that the Dunes Inn and Suites was so close to the beach and close to really cool restaurants and shops. The room seemed updated even though the building was older. The bed was very comfortable! Our stay was seamless and the staff was very helpful. Great place to vacation!

Not very secure. Minor issue, considering the location, but parking and rooms are right on the street.
It’s a pretty standard 2-star hotel, but for that class, it’s above average—clean, quiet, comfortable.

Our room could use an update. The TV was small and hard to see from the bed. The fridge made alot of noise throughout the night. Rental property behind the motel was having a party so they were a bit loud. Our Matress felt a bit flat and should be replaced.
Great Location & Within walking distance of the beach. The area felt safe and secure. There are many resturants and shops near by. The staff was very nice and responsive through emails.

The neighboring people stayed on the phone outside until late hours talking very loudly. The walls were thin. Noise is expected of course but this person was louder than our TV.
