The hotel was pretty much exactly as I expected....good value for the money. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning....which wouldn't take the humidity out of the room and made our first room very uncomfortable. The staff switched us to a new room, which was better, but still had the same problem somewhat. You get what you pay for. But, again, the staff was very helpful. Breakfast could have been better too. They offer the typical powdered eggs, bacon/sausage (but not on all days), limited fruit, waffles, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, limited pastries and great coffee, but limited creamer options.

The staff was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. This is a great location.

Was in the area for a show at The Carolina Theater. Hotel was an easy 5-10 minute car ride away over mostly residential streets ~ no need to get back on busy roads/highway. Situated across the street from hotel was Kickback Jack's restaurant/sports bar. Walked over for a quick meal before heading to the show which was a real convenience (good food too ~ check out their daily drink specials!). The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet (our top 3 requirements). Good breakfast selection and coffee available all day in the lobby. Upon arrival there were trays of freshly baked cookies as well. Will stay there again the next time we are in the area for a show.

Safe, clean. and honest staff. My child left their wallet w lots of cash (just had a birthday, so over $100) and housekeeping took it to the front desk who called me right away (about an hour after we checked out). They kept it safely locked away until we came back for it.

Charging for coffee in the mornings is a bit of a disappointment and not having coffee readily available is also inconvenient.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is a stocked bar for beer and wine and food when open.

The music playing all night through the speakers in the portico was a bit annoying.

The staff was very friendly. The shuttle service to and from Duke Health was extremely convenient.

Maybe a couple of extra towels and wash cloths would be nice as there were 3 of us in a large suite. There were serious computer problems when we checked in and staff struggled with that and the room key printer wasn't working. The staff did the best they could and remained friendly and accommodating as possible. There was a unexpected charge on our bill when we checked out which required a followup call to the hotel manager who assured us the card would be refunded.

Our room was exceptional. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very large, well laid out and even though we had two large windows facing the interstate hwy, it was extremely quiet. Breakfast was great. Hot and lot's of variety. Plenty of coffee! We were there for a show at the Performing arts center which was just 2 miles away. Great location and a decent restaurant/sports bar right across the street.

I've often heard the coverlets/bedspread were not changed after each guests...I was very uncomfortable after seeing a long hair in the bed and several on the bedspread.

I was in town with my father who had to have surgery, easy to get accommodations at the last minute.
