Internet could have worked better, but the overall experience was wonderful.

Banana bread breakfast was incredible. The whole room experience was awesome. Every detail an example of interior-decorating artistic excellence. Super cool.

We absolutely loved the location and could still see snow across the street by the large evergreens. The complimentary banana nut bread was delicious and adds a special “home” touch to your stay. Our room was not just clean but warm and spacious. The property/area felt safe and the restaurant attached was the cherry on top. This was great value! When we travel we don’t care to spend an arm and leg for some fancy big hotel that’s just the place we will sleep in but we do look and expect it to be clean and functional. This place is it! Reasonable price for a very reasonable room. If we ever travel through again we will be back

Nothing. Everything was wonderful from one of the owners, Vicki who was so accommodating for us to the preparation of the room for us. She had the heater going for us before we came so we didn't have to wait for the room to get warm.

The decor! We had the Gilligan room and it was Awesome! The decor was thoughtfully laid out and took you back in time. Even the kids loved the room. It was cozy, warm and nested right off the main road.

Easily one of my favorite experiences! The rooms are all themed we stayed in the Roy Rodgers room and everything was so cute and unique! The owner was so warm, kind and thoughtful! I would stay here everytime!

A work in process - comfortable bed, complicated heating system, hidden power outlets

It had snowed the day of my arrival and the outside temperature was below freezing. 1. The bathroom and front door are not well insulated. Needed to make sure that I place the door sock to keep temp in. 2. There were three options for heat in the room - a gas powered wall mounted heater; a radiator and a faux-fireplace. Instructions on how to use the gas heater did not guarantee it would stay on through the night - after restarting it 5-6 times, I gave up and went to the portable radiator. Took a while to find an outlet to plug it in. Didn't heat much. Fortunately I discovered the faux-fireplace in a dark corner and realized there was an on switch - this heater did the heavy lifting overnight. 3. Absence of outlets - had to move furniture to get heater plugged in. Abandoned hope in recharging laptop and phone.

The bed was exceptionally comfortable; I slept well.
