Unfortunately, the garbage disposal didn’t work , we found a mice , and the stairs were hard to maneuver around.

We like that, we had an A frame it was very roomy, the bed was very comfortable.

It can be noisy due to trains and streets - but the whole town is just along that street do nothing you can change if you need some accommodation close to crater lake.

The front desk host was super friendly and gave us an upgrade at no extra charge. There is a small breakfast available (coffee, bagels, muffins) which we did not expect so this was a nice add on since restaurants in that area are very limited.

We feel that the rates were very high given the age of the facility. It was very important to say that because service was excellent. We were expecting a lot more for the rate we were charged. 40% less would have been better.

Staff were excellent and very accommodating.

Convenient location — “somewhat “ close to Crater Lake — but cramped & overpriced.

Cramped space (7-8” on either side of the double bed), very small bath. Right off busy Rte97. No night light. Mediocre breakfast (limited to toasted muffins or bagels, packaged cereals, pseudo-juice, horrible coffee). The online pix are truly deceiving. The Recommended diner “next door “ was staffed by very congenial waitress but we were served inferior/ burnt food. This is a small motel, several decades old that is about 40 minutes north of Crater Lake. Many exterior features (walkways, parking lot, etc.) are in need of repair. Even at $100/ night it would have been overpriced. We were charged $212 — tax included! We had just spent two previous nights at a gorgeous, modern, well-run motel on the coast in Bandon for the same price but with more than twice the sq footage and access to stunning ocean views.

Friendly owner/manager, clean, new linens, some remodeling of bathroom.

Nice kitchen, however dishwasher would run, but no water into it, so dishes and utensils were in cupboards but not clean. Washer/dryer were a welcome perk, but washer made horrible noises and clearly needed maintenance, too. Chemult is in the forest, but nothing is far from the hwy or trains. Also, weak WI-Fi and cellular coverage is spotty at best in the area

Great location for visiting Crater Lake and other beautiful sights in the area. Staff was helpful and accommodating. We stayed in one of the quaint A-frame cabins, which was much quieter than the rooms in the front which face the Hwy (heavy trucks use this road) and much more space for our family. Great food at the Ponderosa, recommended by staff.

This is a very nice roadside motel that perfectly suited our needs on the way to Crater Lake. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The continental breakfast was good, self serve and with several options. There is an excellent restaurant nearby called Ponderosa Public House.

Right off the highway, can hear the trucks and also the train behind the property. Rooms clean, but very small, whole place is in need of upgrades. Only two places to eat nearby, most places closed or no longer exist in the area😏

Family run, very friendly and had inside information about what to see on the way to Crater lake. We got an upgrade at no extra cost . Good place for a quick sleep over.

There was no closet to hang up our clothes (we were attending a wedding in the area.) There were just 4 pegs to hang our coats. The beds were too soft for our liking.

The location served its purpose for us and the restaurants in town were good. The TV was nice and nice to have a small refrigerator.

Room was off the road and quiet. Shower was good. Perfect for a overnight stay.

The "free" breakfast offerings were scarce-the room was very small w/o a closet to hang up clothes. The a/c was not adequate. The facilities look rundown. There was a broken window taped next to us. The water pressure was very low.

The bed was very comfortable. It was in a good location for a visit to Crater Lake. They did have a clean room.
