Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThere is a little bit of street element there, but it isn't a huge amount, or disturbing a amount. The sound from upper rooms is a little much at times.
A generally quiet space with not to much traffic. There is a great breakfast spot on the neighboring lot, and stores nearby withing walking distances. The location would be good for either having a vehicle or just walking.

United States of AmericaI noticed the floor of our room was a bit dirty, but because it’s winter and there’s ice melt everywhere I understand that it’d be difficult to keep super clean since the housekeepers have to walk on the ice melt to get to the rooms.
It had a lot of food options and grocery stores nearby, and it’s only 20-30 min from the heart of seattle which wasn’t a bad commute.

United States of AmericaAgain, we LOVED the jetted tub. But only AFTER we had to clean it out. After we ran the jets and cleaned it out four times, we STILL had HAIR from previous occupants floating around in the water. So we unfortunately had to give up on the jets. It just ended up being a big glorified bathtub. I informed the front desk at check out and she quickly apologized and got me my cash deposit and I was on my way out. Needless to say, check the jets in a tub before you take a dip.
The bed is very comfortable and clean. I loved the price for the king suite that has a hot tub in the room. It's a big jetted tub big enough for two average sized adults. Best price and location for the trip we took.

United States of AmericaQueen and king beds should have reading lamps on both sides. The coffee packs were not resupplied every day. Being cool outside, the fan on high didn't cool the room enough, necessitating the use of the air conditioner.
The staff was very accommodating in matching our family needs to the room. The room was spacious. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom/shower was very nice. Pet friendly is important. The room was satisfactorily quiet.

United States of AmericaRight off of 99, even this far north, it's a little sketch, but not as bad as further down south. It's a bit far from downtown Seattle, although traffic is not bad if you leave after rush hour or take the expressway. Even when I got caught in rush hour and was not on the expressway, it still only took about 30 minutes to get downtown.
We had to get a place to stay for a few nights in Seattle at the last minute. Overall, the room is nothing special but not bad either. It was the cheapest option that wasn't really far away from the city center (still not that close though). It is very close to downtown Edmonds, though, which has restaurants and the waterfront is very close. They allow pets which was a requirement for us. The bed was pretty comfortable too.

United States of AmericaRoom cleaning is hard to get. I don't know what is wrong. Just keeping staff there is one, that kind of try to do less work as she can and the bed wasn't folded properly after I finally got the service. And the bed is a bit uncomfortable. Hope this helps for the improvement.
The front desks are very nice in general. Especially the brown lady. I am impressed by their attitude and service.
