Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe thought that the breakfast was going to be onsite instead of receiving a coupon for a local restaurant. The restaurant was a good value and had good food. The coupon only covered 1/2 of the bill. It was hard to see the key pad for the outer door at night. Information as to where to park would have been nice. We were uncertain until we asked the receptionist.
The property was a perfect location. It is in the middle of most of the Big Things. The receptionist was very helpful and pleasent.

United States of AmericaWhen I booked said breakfast was included at property. Was not! Texted host and was told there was a $10 voucher for cafe or coffee house down the block! Never found it they said to mention it and should be able to get. Didn’t bother!

CanadaNot sure there’s AC? We were provided a fan and no control of room temperature. Was fine for us but if really hot could be an issue?
Beautiful industrial style rooms! I was just looking for a small town close to the interstate (which this is) BUT the town is very clean, we’ll kept and quirky!

United States of AmericaI really loved everything, but it is important to note that if you have an issue with stairs this probably isn't your best choice. There is an exterior elevator though...although those make me a little nervous so I climbed the mountain of stairs lol. Also, if you are a light sleeper, the creaking stairs and trains passing through could be an issue for you. It was a plus for me...reminded me of my childhood at my grandmother's home.
I loved the repurposed building with the rough brick walls and fixtures. Truly beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Simple check in and out through text. Perfect location to explore downtown Casey by foot. It was a delight!

The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The combination of shiplap and brick, along with tasteful accents add to the overall experience. The owner Kim is very accomodating and has done a great job in turnng a historical building into a something memorable. There are little notes stuck in some of the cracks of the bricks from previous guests which is really neat and interesting. The town while very small is quite charming and has a lot unique attractions and shops to offer visitors.

United States of AmericaThat we had to leave and go back home. Lol.
My wife and I loved the small town feel, the natural brick walls, shiplap accents, and the notes in the walls from previous guests. Every detail of the room is well thought out and truly adds to the experience. The manager Kim is wonderful and very accommodating. The local merchants and world's largest attractions are really good as well.

United KingdomThe hotel is right by the train tracks and a couple of freight trains went by in the night. Not a huge deal but light sleepers might want to bring ear plugs. No lobby area or anything. The listing promised free breakfast but this was in the form of a voucher for a few local eateries. We were travelling as a group of three so the $10 didn't really cover breakfast, think we got the same voucher as everyone else, despite being three people. Again, not a major thing but little details can make a difference. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we would stay again.
We stayed here for a night on a trip across the state. It's a nice stopover and all the big things in town make for a fun distraction. The room was clean and instructions for access were sent to us so check in was easy despite a late arrival. Appreciated the coffee area. WiFi was fast enough.

United States of AmericaThe elevator was waiting for repair, but that isn't anything the owner could help.
The room was a very large size, with a refrigerator and microwave oven. The bathroom was also a good size with a large shower. I liked how much room we had to move around, and the brick walls and decor were very pretty. Very comfy bed too, with plenty of pillows. The location was great for walking around looking at the downtown.

Canadaok so the location is great within the town as it’s walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. however - the flip side to this is it is right by the railway tracks which goes right through the town so I was woken up at 3.52am by the train and then a couple more. i believe I got the last room available so it’s worth asking which is the quietest room.
the location, the room, I loved it all!

I loved the old school charm of the hotel. It was only a one night stay but sweet. I did notice the cracking of the old floors . While I was getting up in the middle of the night trying to be quiet. lol The beds were comfortable plus everything was crisp and clean. thank you…

Well, we were given a voucher for $10.00 with 3 choices where to use it. Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night and everything is closed except 1 restaurant.
