The staff was amazing so friendly and caring like you were staying at a friend's house. The room was nice and quiet and the shampoo was really great. Location was so close to Universal. My son and I really enjoyed our stay!

For the type of stay (this place has a more motel type of appearance from the outside), there’s not much we can think of in terms of what they can change.

The location was really great; we were able to walk to Universal Studios in about 20 - 30 minutes (there is easy access to the free shuttle at the bottom of the hill if you’d like too). There were also a few stores and small food places within 5-10 minutes of walking. The staff was also very friendly; even though their check in time is until 10:00pm, they were extremely kind and understanding and waited for us to help check us in after that (we just called them ahead of time to let them know our flight was sadly delayed). The room itself was also very modern, clean, and comfortable! Even though we forgot to hang the service tag on our door, they still came and cleaned our room on our first day. It was always nice coming back to a freshly cleaned room! We can absolutely see coming back and staying here again in the future!

nothing, everything’s perfect

clean, spacious, comfortable bed and so quiet I slept so well. The shower was always hot with great water pressure. the coffee making and fridge were a bonus and really nice toiletries. They even had hair conditioner which is unusual. A lovely english pub across the road with 5 dollar happy hour on pints from 3pm - 7pm. walkable to metro 15 mins and universal studios 25mins including 5 min free shuttle at the end. check in and out went smoothly and the staff were really helpful with questions and maps etc. I will definitely stay here again. vivian’s cafe across the road also nice and supermarkets eateries all walkable.

We like everything about the property

The property is very cozy. After several days in big chain hotels, it was nice to find someplace so personal. The property is centrally located, with I-5 very close, and shopping and some restaurants within walking distance. Universal is literally 5 minutes away. The staff is especially accommodating and pleasant and work hard to keep the rooms very clean. They also have a large rolling gate on one side, so vehicle safety at night was not a concern.

The hot water did not work properly when we were there. It was on and off when I took shower. The price tag is quite high.

Good location near Universal Studio and great service from the owner and staff. The room was clean and has everything we need. We hope to be back again if we go to the Universal Studio Hollywood again.

Not necessarily something I didn’t like. I just noticed that my door needed just a little bit of repair at the bottom edge.

I was pleasantly surprised when I entered the door of my assigned room. Although this is an older establishment, it didn’t have any of the old smells. Also, housekeeping did a fantastic job of daily upkeep. Everyone who works there is very kind and conscientious. I will definitely stay there again.

Nothing, it was great for what we did.

The beds were super comfortable and although it's in a busy area, the rooms were set back and felt quite, safe and cozy. The owner was super friendly and checking in and out was easy.
