Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room description on the website said, “City view.” Our view was the parking lot and freeway. If you stay here, I suggest you get a room on the other side, across from the park. Also, we were there 2 nights but never had maid service. I am not sure why that was?
The breakfast was nice. Besides the muffins, cereal and yogurt, they made a little breakfast item as well. We had sausage and strawberry cheese blintzes one day. I liked having cold fruit infused water daily. Our room was a mini-suite. We used both the kitchen and the sofa. The shower was powerful and the bed was comfortable. I walked into town one day and it was not too far.

hot breakfast arrived late. If breakfast starts at 6:30 I expect it all to be ready at 6:30.
Very clean, fantastic gym, gf options for breakfast, and tea before bed was an amazing treat!

Property lively! Booking not so hot.
Loved the place. Booking wouldn’t extend my stay one day. I did so by contacting the hotel, and they accommodated me. When I tried to explain it to Booking customer service, the person I was speaking to hung up on me. So … less likely to use Booking in the future.

The fan in the bathroom didn’t work that well but other than that the room was great.
The hotel was nice, clean and in a great location. Plus it was affordable. I’d stay here again.

The train that kept blowing their horn. The hotel was super close to the railroad tracks. The pillows were extra soft and not supportive.
Everything was nice and clean. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast variety was great.

It was way too white on the inside. Everything felt a bit too sterile for the most part, but I really enjoyed my stay in Bend and this was the best hotel.
Really enjoyed the free continental breakfast and the stay. It was one of those hotels that you could stay in for a long time and feel as comfortable as staying at home.

One train whistle, nothing the hotel can for do about other than a quiet zone process through city government & southern pacific RR.
Amenities superior: pool, spa, large exercise room, large lobby, and store with snacks. Room has a mini kitchen excellent shower.

The room lighting was overly bright and there was no way to have a night light. And the light switch for the bedside lamps was next to the door, so not convenient.

The fact that the hot tub could not be used the last 2 days of our stay and that the pool got cold after cleaning. In fact so cold we didn't want to do laps the last day. We don't eat breakfast so didn't take advantage of that, but did enjoy a couple of cups of coffee each morning.
We liked the indoor heated pool so we could do laps in the morning, and then since it wasn't a bath water hot pool we enjoyed warming back up in the hot tub getting muscles relaxed by the jets of water. The staff were also very accommodating helping us quickly and pleasantly with any needs.

The pull out sofa bed mattress was a bit uncomfortable and so didn’t sleep well.

Price is high but the area is safe when traveling with kids and that was important to us.
Great location, walking distance from downtown where you can find tons of eateries and breweries. Room is big, clean and comfortable. They have hot and cold breakfast every morning and complimentary happy hour 4-630 Monday-Thursday.

The entrance to the hotel parking lot from NE Olney Ave is not constructed to accommodate wheelchair Vans and not marked, so our can scrapped really bad. The breakfast missed a good review by a few marks. The grill only cooks the item of the day, the toast and bagels didn’t have any cream cheese or jelly, the muffins didn’t get marked with flavors. All small details but things that would better accommodate families and provide variety.
The property was well maintained and clean, my family enjoyed the court yard, swimming pool, and liked the location being close to downtown and walking trails along river. I loved how accessible the entire hotels was even without booking a wheelchair room.
