The rooms are in need of major renovations. There was a sense of neglect to the rooms. They were clean but dated. The bathroom downspout in the tub was coming out of the wall. The shower worked ok but it was obvious the tub needed repairs.

The location was great. The lobby areas were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Some of the staff was very friendly and others were aloof and not friendly. We were disappointed in the Social Hour they provide. We were there three nights and went to all three of the Social Hours. They had limited hard liquor, no light beer, ran out of the one beer they had, and had diet pop only the first night and then none after that. The bar person the first two nights was not friendly to us. We were unsure as to why the beer and diet pop were not restocked when they ran out. We had been to Embassy Suites years ago and remember the Social Hours being very nice. This one was definitely lacking. Also, we only got food one night because we were there when the Social Hour started. The other two nights the food was gone when we arrived about an hour after the Social Hour began. The room we had was very rough. The carpet was ripped and there was a large divot in the carpet by the table. The furniture was also very old. The exterior and lobby area of the Hotel is very nice but our room was not.

Breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and tasty. Some of the staff was very friendly and others were aloof and not friendly. The location was also excellent. We were allowed a late checkout which was very helpful.

Some parts of the hotel were dated and needed some refreshment. The furniture in the rooms were worn, the bathroom fixtures were worn and needed some maintenance. I did not find the sofa or bed very comfortable. Also the street our room overlooked was VERY NOISY. It apparently served as a maintenance/delivery site for 2 hotels and we were woken up both nights very early with the sounds of trucks and general commotion. (once at about 2 am and another about 4 am).

The staff were exceptional!! From the front desk to the breakfast staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and stocked upon our arrival and the daily housekeeping was great. Could not beat the location.

The breakfast was wonderful. The cooks preparing the made-to-order eggs were very pleasant and efficient. The bedroom was charming and the suite was very spacious. I loved the brick wall. The location can't be beat!
