It was overall beautiful and comfortable. There could have been minor things that would have made it absolutely amazing!

Had to pay for parking. There was no sheets/blanket for sofa sleeper. Toilets didn’t work properly. Shower wouldn’t drain properly. A potholder would have been handy when baking and a pizza cutter. A couple of laundry pods would have been nice to wash towels since they are minimal. I’m definitely not complaining as we loved our stay but just a few things that would have made it perfect. We had 6 people but the 2 that slept on the sofa sleeper didn’t have sheets nor a blanket. Potholder is a minor thing but didn’t know I didn’t have one until it was time to remove the pizza from the oven. Sliding door in the bedroom to the balcony would not lock. It was rusted and frozen. There was a broken lamp, looked like a lamp, on the balcony. Instructions on checking in and checking out are very vague. It was our first stay so explains where to put trash and where to park on arrival would have been helpful. It would have saved time and stress of trying to find everything.

The view was amazing. The location was perfect. The beds were very comfortable. Size was comfortable. A/c worked well. The balcony view could not have been any better. It was beautiful.

Very nice apartment, parking and location were awful!

The location was in an area where there was nothing to do unless you wanted to travel to the other side of the town, parking was awful, had to pay $40.00 for parking and ended up parking across the street. Owners live in the building and took up a lot of the parking spaces. Although it said no pets, smoking or drinking even on the beach, the owners were the only ones allowed to break these rules. There were signs posted about the fines that the guest would receive if they didn’t follow all the rules. Which was fine but it seemed more like a prison camp and I realize that the city voted for these rules, not the owners. If you rented beach chairs and umbrellas ($45.00 a day) they had to be placed a certain distance from the beach. The air conditioner had to be set on 74 degrees at the lowest. There was a sign on the balcony door that said to keep the door closed so the air conditioner wouldn’t not freeze up or you would be responsible for paying to have it fixed, which was understandable but what if it froze up without it being due to anything that you did. I guess you would still be responsible??? The security lady had rules for some and not others, told my daughter that she needed a cover up to go to the pool when there were others going to the pool that she said nothing to. Also, she walks around making sure that you are wearing an armband to be in the pool. The apartment was on the 12th floor, plenty of elevators and they all were working well. The couch was very comfortable. The layout of the apartment was very nice, the balcony had plenty of furniture that was also nice. Could not get the tv in the kids bedroom working and the ceiling fan made noise.

    The apartment was beautifully decorated

I wouldn't say I didn't like it. These are just things that would have been primo... A foot stool/ottoman for the chair. For those taking a vacation while also working: a comfy place for remote work... meaning, sitting at the kitchen table with those particular chairs for any length was not very comfortable. However, there is a fantastic spot on the balcony with a plug close by that made up for it. I would also suggest a TV that allows HDMI slots to use a firestick or connect a laptop.

This was a dream rental. I quite literally gasped when I first entered because of how beautiful it was. This is probably the first place I have gone where the apartment was the same as what the pictures depicted, if not better. The balcony was amazing. The view was amazing. The apartment was so spacious and felt so clean. The bedrooms were very private from one another. The kitchen was very well stocked. If I could live in this space, it would be a dream come true.

Bathrooms need to be updated. The master bedroom did not have a view. Living room furniture was not comfortable. The balcony furniture was terrible. Made of Vinal. and was hot in the sun.

Location was good. Difficult to understand instructions to get key pad info. Parking was not ideal.

The king bed was by the kitchen, not the ocean view we expected. The electrical outlet did not work in the master bath, such a hassle to go back and forth with the blow dryer (of which they don't provide). Burners in the kitchen stove were not working, unless you wiggled them around. The Fire alarm went off every time you put something in the oven. We didn't cook there, it was a Nightmare!!! Patio furniture was old and so uncomfortable. Check in was confusing, they said we should have had a packet in our room, but we didn't.

The patio and the view of the ocean. The pools were nice and clean.

    Nothing

Everything! Photos of room do not do it justice. It was much nicer than photos. Realjoy and Emerald Isle employees wonderful! I locked myself out and they made a stressful situation fun. Taylor was awesome with beach umbrellas. I was gently chastised by security, but I deserved it. I did not have my wristband on in pool. Just follow directions and you won't have a problem. Also security was awesome and fun when I locked myself out. Condo was spacious, beautiful, and peaceful with huge balcony overlooking the beautiful sea! I could go on and on. Thank you to the owners of 1201 for allowing me to stay in your wonderful unit!
