We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United States of AmericaThe icy reception when checking in, not a smile or welcoming chit-chat that we are accustomed to during our month-long stays each year on the island. Our room was on the 3rd floor, but the number begain with 2, and the woman at the desk never bothered to mention it. (Fortunately, there were only 3 floors, so we figured it out after not being able to find it on the 2nd floor.) We’d like it better, too, if the bike paths extended to the facility.
The room, building, location are top-notch. We chose it for a restful last night in SSI and it didn’t disappoint as we sat on the balcony and watched herons and dolphins just 100’ from us.

United States of AmericaNot much. Itis a bit confusing where to go for the rooms as it’s a large complex. But the people there are so helpful they took the time to help.
Nice and clean. Staff was very cordial and helpful. We were in the turner building. It had a really nice view of the river and the dock right off then balcony. After we had dinner at a nearby restaurant we enjoyed the sunset and had a good nights sleep. We went to check out and our car battery had died. We called the front desk for help and within 5 minutes security came and helped us out. They didn’t act like it was a hassle. It’s things like this that make me want to return to this quiet, peaceful place to stay. I’d have no problem recommending them.

Epworth By the Sea is a beautiful place. Clean comfy room, great Wi-Fi, and nice balcony. The grounds are well maintained, and the views are amazing. This is a great place to relax, unwind, and have a tranquil experience. Beautiful live oaks, gardens/green spaces, water views, and gorgeous sunsets. Short drive to restaurants, shops, pier, lighthouse, and beaches.

United States of AmericaIf I have any issues at all, it would be the water pressure in the shower is a little lacking.
I have been to the Epworth many times, the price is right, and the view of the canal is beautiful from the rooms private balcony. It's away from the busy strip, so it's always quiet and peaceful. My kids love to fish off the dock. It's a great hotel. Room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
