Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Great historic hotel right in the middle of the old downtown area. It is exactly what one would expect from such a place, The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the area is great for walking around and checking out the shops and neighborhood.

United States of Americasince everything is very expensive, we carry a lot of cooked food with us to save some money, No microwave in our room which was very disappointing. There is a microwave on the ground floor next to the repetition in the vending machine room. other than we are happy
The room was small but clean and comfortable, I and my wife enjoyed our stay, but we did not get breakfast option

We loved being able to walk to all the shops and dining without needing to use a car! We also had a lot of fun in the hot tub and game room. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to eat. The shuttle service was nice once we dropped our car off at their lot.

United States of AmericaRoom 306, I couldn't believe I paid over $200 a night for the smallest room I think I've stayed in. No chair, only a bed. Big TV, closet space that looked bigger than it was with the doors. Thin, thin doors. You could hear the elevator all night and anyone even whispering in the hallways.
Location, in the heart of everything. Stargazing, fun to go up past the 6th floor to see the stars. Breakfast, two very good breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Very good drivers that would take you to your car and back.

United States of AmericaA water leak from the ceiling in the shower was disturbing. We reported it and the next day it did not repeat. We suspect the shower in the room above us experiencing a problem. The room was a little bit dark though there was enough lighting. Not much outside light came into the room. The drink at the hotel bar (2nd floor) was underwhelming for the price. We wanted to try it out (close to the outside balcony). Once was enough.
#1 We liked the character of the property. It is historic with a story to tell. #2 We liked the staff friendliness and responsiveness #3 We especially liked the walking tour of Eureka Springs with Jerri Marlowe. She gives an outstanding presentation. You can tell she likes what she does. It is very nice that the Basin Park Hotel offers her expertise to guests #4 Star gazing & viewing Jupiter from the hotel rooftop. Wonderful! #5 Genuinely comfortable room for a property over 100 years old.

United States of AmericaThe size of the room for the price was a little disappointing and the door had about a 2 inch gap at the bottom which allowed in a little more noise than usual.

United States of AmericaThe rule no outside coffee in Jack Rabbetts whiskey bar. I was watching a football game with my husband and the bartender said I couldn’t have my outside coffee in Jack Rabbetts. I had to leave, so my husband left with me. We weren’t causing any trouble & thought the rule was petty. I understand the bartender was following the rules, but we were paying to stay in the hotel & it shouldn’t have mattered
The staff shuttle drivers, and Jeri the activity director were amazing! Jeri was soooo knowledgeable. The front desk was very helpful. Room was clean & bed was comfy. Shower got hot and had good pressure. I also got 2 clear photos of a ghost with my phone

United States of AmericaThe staff at the restaurant/bar are definitely not very friendly. They seemed to not be as engaged with customers as much as I would expect them to for the price of staying there.

United States of AmericaGreat location by shopping and restaurants and still convenient to go see other sites around town. The restaurant in the hotel had great food also. The shuttle from the parking lot was great to not have to park on the street and it was still close enough to walk to if you wanted. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when we visit Eureka Springs.

This hotel is right in the heart of old Eureka Springs and an easy walk to dozens of places. It's the most convenient place I've stayed in Eureka.
