Pillows were flat - maybe old, lack of enough pillow cases, mattress was ok but bed was bouncy. Smell of smoke but perhaps from neighbors.

- mattress is a little bit too soft, but still ok for me - bathtub has been clogged before we checked in, which is really annoying and inconvenient.

-Perfect location, 5 minutes drive to Japan Town, 8 minutes drive to the Getty museum,less than 15 minutes drive to Santa Monica and about 10 minutes to Beverly Hills. There was a really strong smell of Marijuana every day in the room, that didn't leave even when airing the property. What I didn't realise when booking was that they didn't own the actual complex but just rent out a single room in the building. Therefore, when I arrived I had to wait in the rain for someone to come and let me in, and they didn't have anywhere to store baggage after check out, etc.

Staff were friendly, great location in LA with lots of restaurants nearby. The pool looked nice (although it was too cold for me to use in Winter) and there was a small but usable gym.

the location is excellent in West LA, assigned parking spot was very helpful the apartment was very clean and well stocked and comfortable the staff met us to give our key and helped to carry our luggage into the aparttment it was easy to communicate with the staff

It could have used a handicap-equipped bathroom. The addition of some grab bars in the shower, and a raised toilet, would not cost much money, and would make the place even more inviting to potential guests, and open up the range of potential customers.

The rooms were neat and clean. Although it was not "home" it felt like home.

There was a funky smell, almost mildew like during our stay. Although we tried to air it out, it was a smell that lingered for days. I would say in one of the bathrooms there was a moisture smell. Great value for the four nights but we didn’t have extra toilet paper and there weren’t enough towels for our family of 5. One thing I didn’t appreciate about the property, although patrolled by security in the evenings, I didn’t like how security shined their light through the living room area as we were watching tv in the late evening as a family and my husband went to see why he was doing it and he said, “could we turn down the tv?” Very peculiar and unsettling. We just closed the sliding door and blinds.

Great central location in Santa Monica, close to the beach! Close to all shopping areas and grocery stores. We loved that the apartment was right in front of the pool, the patio gate opens to the pool, kids loved it.

A little bit hard to understand were is the entrance of the property and the contact with the host but nothing serious, when he arrived he was super nice.

The apartment was big and clean will a very nice pool view. The bed was very comfortable and huge, there was everything we needed even the access to the laundry that we only paid something like two dollars.

Beds were uncomfortable- hard mattresses, flat pillows, sheets appeared to be polyester microfiber. No a/c or fan in one bedroom and no way to secure the window in a partially open position.

Quiet (unless someone was walking upstairs), clean, secure apartment in a convenient location. I appreciated parking in a gated lot.

The unit wasn’t quite ready when we got there at almost 5PM. Pillows are so horribly soft and flat but the biggest bummer was due to some gas connection issue the stove wasn’t working during the whole 3 nights we were staying there.

There were just a few things, such as loose door knob, and paint peeling, that brought the "executive" experience down a notch. I contacted the renters and let them know, and they responded quickly about fixing the four small issues.

The apartment is really big, and very well equipped. Two big bedrooms, both with ensuite toilet, sink and bath/shower. There is a patio off the main room, and that leads directly to the pool which is steps away. If you're doing anything in West LA this is a really good location. The apartment came with a parking place, which was very nice to have.

If I need to say one negative thing it was the sometimes a bit of a chemical smell in the living room, not sure where that came from. But not in the bad room itself.

So much could have gone better with this rental, and there's not enough room in this form to offer all the details. In summary: - Check-in process was sketchy and extremely uncoordinated; the host uses a 3rd party that didnt seem to know what direction was up most of the time. We ended up waiting in the street for 30min before we could enter the property. Had to watch a video in order to get gate code. - The place was somewhat dirty/heavily dusty, smelly (ammonia at first from cleaning, subsequently replaced by constant lingering marijuana odor), and dated. - Mechanical issues galore - bathtub was severely clogged on arrival, door handles falling off (bedroom & bathroom), carpet so flat/worn your feet get poked by the spikes in the transition strip to the hallway - Heavily overworn pillows, bed, linens, towels, pullout couch, etc. - No luggage stands - paranoid about bedbugs entire stay (none found, thankfully) Owners noted that the suite is primary used by corporate long-term renters (E.g. relocations, etc), and they fill in the gaps with short term rentals. Perhaps fine if you're a solo traveler, but not ideal for a family of 4.

Location was great! The place was situated on a quiet side street away from main road traffic. Relatively easy to get car service. The owners stopped by to address an issue with the plumbing and they were very pleasant to talk to and offered some great options for restaurants to try.
