The room colors very outdated

The staff was great, they allow me to do a late check out and have me a pretty quiet room, very friendly front desk. Location and price great.

The room was small and modest, as I expected, but it had everything I needed and more and was cleaner than probably any hotel room I’ve ever stayed in in the US. I will definitely stay again when I’m back in the area.

Honestly, the only complaint I had was someone in another room was singing (poorly I may add ) well into the night, and that really interfered with my sleep. So unfortunately, I did not like the fact I could hear people in other rooms.

The room was surprisingly very clean. It was good enough for a one night rest to continue on our destination.

This is a modest motel, but quite adequate and, above all, clean and comfortable. We had all of our needs met. Checking in and out were very easy. Parking was easy and right there. Loved the diner right across the street. Would be happy to stay there again.

The employee brought me a chair ND an ashtray so I could smoke outside my room and observe the no indor smoking rule. Loved this. How thoughtful.

The only thing missing was a coffee maker. But I bet if someone asked for one, it would be provided.

The room had some unexpected boutique touches like an accent wall and beautiful mirrors. Before I arrived, the owner had made certain that my one request had been fulfilled. It was like having a host.

Room was small and well used. Meaning stains on walls and sheets. Perfect if you're sick as you can use the toilet while resting your head on the sink. Room 104 was a little noisy as it is next to a stairwell. My spouse loved the bed. It was way too firm for me. Could bounce a quarter and it will come back hitting you in the eye. But would stay again as it was clean and no bugs

Cheap and convenient. Bathroom window had enough light in at night that you didn't need to turn on the lights. Place does look a bit dodgey but it was quiet(minus the people going up the stairs).

The only thing I would complain about is that the A/C unit in the room is quite loud. You get used to it, but when it shuts off, the silence is a huge contrast. But I would much rather have functioning A/C than none at all!

I was in the area for a wedding nearby and was on a tight budget. There are some other 2-star hotels in the area, but many of the reviews mentioned bugs and a general lack of cleanliness. HOWEVER, everyone in the reviews for Express Inn praised how clean it was and how friendly the staff is, so I decided to book with them. I'm so happy I did, because I got to stay in a clean, good-sized room that was so easy to access by public transportation from the airport. I appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room. The area also feels safe, there's several grocery stores and restaurants/cafes within walking distance. But most of all, the motel manager was very friendly, kind, and provided exceptional service. They had the A/C running before I arrived so that the room was wonderfully chill (and it was HOT outside).

Pillows

Pleasantly surprised, great value. The room has no odor was clean, great shower with great water pressure. The bed was comfortable but need better pillows. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge even though we didn't use microwave for our one night stay.

Inside and out this place is a mess. Filthy lobby. Very small room, nowhere to put luggage. Old fashioned bathroom, not very clean and nowhere to put personal toiletries. Uncomfortable bed, polyester bedding and terrible pillows.

Good choice of TV channels and good TV. Good location near centre of town and has own parking.
