Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I travel there once a Month to conduct inspections on Ft. Eisenhour. They seem to have some sort of deal going on where families or homeless families are living there. That's not a problem but, they need to tell them to be more considerate of the people who are there for work that need to sleep at night. The children are not well behaved and bang on the walls and run up and down the halls during sleeping hours. They should be a little more conscious of this. Plenty of room outside for the kids to run around. Perhaps the hotel might want to install a playground so the kids can tire themselves out before the end of the day. Also, there was a family in the breakfast area that took up all the tables by spreading out with chairs between the kids and you couldn't sit to eat without being in the middle of the family. Just no consideration. We have stayed here before and thought we would give it another chance. Last time we had to evacuate the hotel because someone decided to smoke weed in their room at 0200hrs and set of the fire alarms.

It would have been better if we didn't hear the child above us running back and forth for hours in the early morning hours. Then there was a door that was barking and wouldn't stop on our floor. Sounded like it was right next door, but not sure.
We've stayed here a few times and always loved the getaway.

It would have been a lot better if people were not so loud down the hallway and above us. Every time we stay there someone is always setting off the smoke alarm at 3 in the morning.

I wish the fees and taxes would have been a bit more visible upfront as the room itself was only 121$ but we ended up paying nearly 180 after pet fees and taxes and other surcharges. I wasn’t too upset about it because the hotel was so comfortable but wish the pricing was more transparent online.
Great location on the hilltop, the room smelled like it had been cleaned with bleach and was spotless, beds were very comfortable and the staff was kind and helpful. It was also within 10 minutes of lots of good food and they were welcoming with our pets.

Bathroom sink didn't drain correctly. Couple of guests getting high outside the lobby doors was uncomfortable to walk past with my son's. No breakfast when we went downstairs and we had to go elsewhere to eat.
Loved the cleanliness of the room. Comfort of the beds. Quietness of the hotel once we were in our room

Though the breakfast was good, a bigger selection would be better.
I liked that I booked this last minute due to another hotel botching my reservation, and they were right on it. Gave me a call about my reservation minutes after my booking. Front end association was pleasant. Room was exactly what I requested.

I found nothing to object to, your staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. The initial room we were assigned to still had other peoples property in it so we had to be moved to a less desirable room, but it was still very nice.
It was fresh and clean! Allowed me to have my favorite companion, my labrador retriever puppy
