Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I booked 2 queen bed room and I was provided a smaller one queen bed room. At morning 8am muffins in the breakfast was over.

Obviously, this place is not very impressing. But, this is OK given the price.
Large rooms, very cost-effective. Given the price, I found it surprising that there was a breakfast at all.

I couldn’t get the free Wifi to work however cell coverage was great. The carpet in my room had multiple cig burn holes but no smoke odor, thankfully. It would be nice if the had a gym area and an ice machine.
The location was great, right along the US1 corridor. The coffee service in the morning was excellent. The bed was firm and comfortable.

There was no tea or coffee provided in the room. You had to ask for cups, glasses and plates at the front desk. They didn't tell me this on check in so I had to go back down and get them. Personally we would stay somewhere else if we we in Princeton again.
The grab and go breakfast wasn't very good.

No amenities provided with the kitchenette. Not even a single spoon. I had to go to the front desk because they didn't have the resources to send and you have to specify item by item on what u need.
It felt safer to come back to this hotel in the night as it was all in one building. Other places were spread out and walking alone back to the room in the night all alone felt very vulnerable.

The staff was horrible. They are never at reception desk and have to be called many times. They think because the price is less, so they can treat the customers however they want.
Good value for price. Room had everything, even a refrigerator.

Even though It was a no smoking hotel, it very much smelled like smoke throughout. The rooms were also very beige. Little decorations, wasn’t very cozy Or inviting. However my bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Fire alarm disturbed whole stay! :-( Microwave in the room not working and informed front desk but no one came to address the issue. Breakfast doesn't have any fruits or even muffins. Just cup of coffee and some breakfast bars.
Cancellation policy given to the customer till the last moment of the specific travel date. Flexibility!! Polite staffs but not able to provide much help.

Honestly everything was pretty good except for the smell in my room and I couldn't seem to find a source. Smelled like some sort of combination of feet, cheese, and possibly bad yogurt. The AC could have worked more effectively.
I liked the friendliness of the staff and the location was very central to all the different places that I needed to go for my travels. The suite was useful for the amount of time that I stayed there. My room was clean overall.

actual milk or half and half. and specify that breakfast is snack food.
Breakfast was nothing - I came down at 7:45 am for coffee - and there was no creamer, no food, and only a few packets of sugar. The front desk said that's all they had.
