no coffee one morning. no 'breakfast' 2 of the 3 mornings if you call a miniature muffin breakfast.

building looked good from outside...but felt decades old inside: i.e. small lobby, older features of room.

That there are no provisions for tea or coffee in the room, I could’t get hot beverages anywhere any other time except at breakfast. The beddings could use a quilt or duvet not an old thin blanket between sheets. And a staff member opened my door without knocking, within the first hour of checking in, with his register to check if I have just checked-in. I didn’t understand why?

The lounge was closed, due to them saying a lot of homeless people come in and try to sleep in there. And only the manager has the key so it was not accessible to us just to go in and relax.

Over all quiet and not a lot of traffic.

This is a very old property, the room smelled if smoke, some persons dog pooped all over the 2nd floor hallway. It was a good price and has free parking

There was no way to plug the sinks or tub. There was a bulb missing in the lamp. The one gfi plug in the kitchen did not work at all. One of the bedside lamps did not work. It took 3 times to get new towels and even then I had to beg for them. The bathroom garbage was heaping when we arrived.

The kitchenette was very large and worked well for us.

This hotel is Isolated if your not driving then you will NOT be able to walk to anything as highways all around you ... YOU must have a Vehicle to get around from this hotel...

Staff member working the night shift one day just disappeared, (and shut down the phone line), and caused massive inconveniences for myself and other customers. No explanation or apology was ever given. Housekeeping is supposed to come by at least once every 7 days -- I managed to convince a maid to clean my room on the 8th day, despite the front desk having failed to notify her to do so (after assuring me they would).

A friendly staff member reimbursed one night of my 12-day stay, after a debacle with a missing employee during the night shift which left other guests and myself unable to access our rooms, and another couple unable to check in (they were arriving late for funeral early in the morning).

The washer and dryer didn't work. The public restroom wasn't operable, and it seemed as the I had to go back to the front desk to re-program my key card to access my room, and in one case, there was no one at the desk. This pissed me off.

The only thing good about this hotel was the location.

The bathroom had a strong smell of what smelled like cigarette smoke. I had to keep the door shut and pump the AC to ventilate the air. I had to hold my breath to use the bathroom, and I couldn't take a shower due to the strong smell.

The staff was friendly. The room was nice, clean, and the bed was super comfortable.

the cleaning staff were all very sweet and kind. I got some lackluster service from the staff.

I loved the location. peaceful. quiet. set away from the hustle and bustle of Alexandria.
