Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americaabsolutely lack of parking was the worst part of the entire stay with a blind husband we could not use the handicapped parking as it was always taken by persons without a handicapped license plate or card. Parking was not enforced by hotel staff.

The breakfast consisted of coffee and oatmeal. Sadly no bananas or fresh fruits for value added service.

United States of AmericaThe staff claims it is company policy for my guests to give them a ID. My friend lost his ID yesterday and his temporary ID expired yesterday due to his birthday, which was obvious and they refused to let him come to a room I paid for for the evening to eat dinner. It wasn't as if he was staying. I understand that you want to keep vagrants out, and that is fine. But this is ridiculous. The room charge and incidental card retained should be insurance that if anything happens I will be charged for it as opposed to not allowing me to have company. I am super irritated by this. Employees should be allowed to use their judgment on the matter.
I liked the price for the location.

Free WiFi was very slow and unstable and I probably ended up paying for a hefty roaming fee due to such lousy WiFi service. Please do not call it a "breakfast"! It is just tea/coffee with cheap cupcakes. For me, the location was excellent as I had meetings downtown. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel room ate is well overpriced for the type of room and services it provides -- I guess all hotels in Anchorage are expensive!

United States of AmericaNot enough employees to take care of the hotel. Too many homeless people around and the only 2 employees of the hotel have to take care of customers and homeless people trying to enter the facility. The hotel should hire a specific person for security so the front end personnel can focus on customer service

CanadaThe hotel itself being beside a law enforcement building still felt unsafe, every pedestrian walkway to the hotel is locked with chains, only the driveway is walkable to entrance. The front lobby doors are locked at all times and need to be buzzed in to get in. Theres a need for them to have a full time security guard who sits in the lobby area pretty while I was there

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was not great. It was coffee, muffins and granola bars. Not super substantial if you ask me. Also, they did elevator maintenance and didn’t tell anyone.
The location was pretty good, but most of the stuff to do is near the other side of the city. But it’s not a huge city so it wasn’t a huge deal. I liked the view from our room, and the bed was pretty comfy. Overall the place was a good place for our short stay in the city

United States of AmericaThe pool was closed for renovations. The continental breakfast was coffee, tea, instant oatmeal , grocery store small muffins and granola bars. No milk or cream, no cereal, no juice. Although we had a "kitchen", there were no utensils, dishes or cookware.
The front desk staff were very outgoing, funny and helpful. The room had a nice kitchenette with 2 burner cooktop and a microwave. The White Spot Cafe was a short walk away and had great breakfast.
