absolutely lack of parking was the worst part of the entire stay with a blind husband we could not use the handicapped parking as it was always taken by persons without a handicapped license plate or card. Parking was not enforced by hotel staff.

First night fire alarm was beeping for one hour. Not their fault, but it was a long time. The girl who was at the front desk at c.out was rude, totally unfriendly

Understandable each worker have their own temperament—so depending on situations—some attitudes changed. But overall the positive staff shined through.

The breakfast consisted of coffee and oatmeal. Sadly no bananas or fresh fruits for value added service.

The staff claims it is company policy for my guests to give them a ID. My friend lost his ID yesterday and his temporary ID expired yesterday due to his birthday, which was obvious and they refused to let him come to a room I paid for for the evening to eat dinner. It wasn't as if he was staying. I understand that you want to keep vagrants out, and that is fine. But this is ridiculous. The room charge and incidental card retained should be insurance that if anything happens I will be charged for it as opposed to not allowing me to have company. I am super irritated by this. Employees should be allowed to use their judgment on the matter.

I liked the price for the location.

The outside entrance was broken so you couldn't get in without someone at the front desk. The breakfast was coffee and a granola bar.

The location was great, room seemed secure and the night time front desk guy was very nice.

    WiFi and Breakfas

Free WiFi was very slow and unstable and I probably ended up paying for a hefty roaming fee due to such lousy WiFi service. Please do not call it a "breakfast"! It is just tea/coffee with cheap cupcakes. For me, the location was excellent as I had meetings downtown. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel room ate is well overpriced for the type of room and services it provides -- I guess all hotels in Anchorage are expensive!

Not enough employees to take care of the hotel. Too many homeless people around and the only 2 employees of the hotel have to take care of customers and homeless people trying to enter the facility. The hotel should hire a specific person for security so the front end personnel can focus on customer service

Did not like location among either homeless or probable drug abusers wondering around the premises. the side doors were wedged open allowing anyone to come in, whereas the front door required a room key or a call to front desk. breakfast horrible. coffee good.

The hotel itself being beside a law enforcement building still felt unsafe, every pedestrian walkway to the hotel is locked with chains, only the driveway is walkable to entrance. The front lobby doors are locked at all times and need to be buzzed in to get in. Theres a need for them to have a full time security guard who sits in the lobby area pretty while I was there

Location, easy walk into the downtown core of Anchorage

Room was not the cleanest and the elevator has a screw partially sticking out on the wall that was sharp and could poke someone

I had a maintenance issue with my room when I checked in, contacted the front desk and they had the maintenance tech there within 10 minutes and he quickly had the problem resolved.

The breakfast was not great. It was coffee, muffins and granola bars. Not super substantial if you ask me. Also, they did elevator maintenance and didn’t tell anyone.

The location was pretty good, but most of the stuff to do is near the other side of the city. But it’s not a huge city so it wasn’t a huge deal. I liked the view from our room, and the bed was pretty comfy. Overall the place was a good place for our short stay in the city

There needs to be cooking utensils in the room. What good is a kitchenette with no cooking or eating utensils. Charge the people who steel. Dont punish the honest people. Why stay here when other facilities are offering a better set up.

The staff was fantastic!. Everyone of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. The facility is under remodel. it will be a very nice looking facility once it is completed

Pool was closed and lobby renovation were inconvenient but I understand it happens. Rooms could use a deep clean and some up keep. Take away breakfast was basic at best.

The pool was closed for renovations. The continental breakfast was coffee, tea, instant oatmeal , grocery store small muffins and granola bars. No milk or cream, no cereal, no juice. Although we had a "kitchen", there were no utensils, dishes or cookware.

The front desk staff were very outgoing, funny and helpful. The room had a nice kitchenette with 2 burner cooktop and a microwave. The White Spot Cafe was a short walk away and had great breakfast.

Although it is advertised as a fully equipped kitchen there was no cutlery, crockery or cookware or utensils, only two flimsy plastic cups. The breakfast was very basic, not what I would consider a full breakfast. Elevator was grubby, not cleaned during our stay of 3 days.

Comfortable bed and clean bedding. Close to downtown.
