Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our flight home was canceled, so this was a last minute booking near the airport. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The breakfast was unexpectedly good and the location perfect for a quick train ride to Central Park and a bite to eat on our walk home from the station. Catching the shuttle to the airport was super easy and made our unexpected stay that much easier. A great price!

I didn't like being in the basement room. Also I may have been double charged for my room. The online check in did not work.
Breakfast was fair. The food could have been warmer. The room was quiet with little street noise. The bed was comfortable. I recommend paying for parking. It was much safer than looking on the street. I know that it costs money but it's New York!

I had messaged the hotel prior to stay through booking.com application asking if there was a 5:00 to 5:30am shuttle available to LaGuardia. They messaged me back that my shuttle request could be accommodated. When I arrived, I was informed that the first shuttle of the day was at 6am and that they had no earlier shuttle available. That time was too late for my flight. Thank goodness I was able to get a Lyft within a couple of minutes. I just dislike being misled.
The Room was very nice and bed was very comfortable

The heat/AC would not shut off. I had to keep resting the temperature to maintain a balance.
Staff was friendly and attentive. One person does need a little more training, she didn’t know how to put in a wake up call so I didn’t get one. But, overall very good.

When I checked in I asked for a recommendation of what time to leave for LaGuardia the next day that turned out to be way more time than necessary in light of the nearly complete upgrades to the airport. Everyone should align with the realities of the renovation which mean that you can get from the curb to the gate much faster than in the past.
I appreciated the items available for sale in the lobby. I came in with no luggage after having a flight pushed to the next day, so it was nice to be able to get a snack. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good variety.

I only stayed longer because of the parking.The room was too dark facing a brick wall.
There was refrigerator and a microwave I never used. Internet tv!!

Issue with broken fan in hall ceiling...noise started around 4:30 am and didn't stop until almost 6:00am. No hot breakfast. Very limited airport shuttle times which were not convenient.
Liked the location, comfortable bed and great staff.

Can't think of anything!
The staff are very helpful and polite. They often go out of their way to help, which is kind and appreciated. The room was clean and comfy, and the hotel breakfast is very good.
