Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When we arrived there was a family with 2 racks full of hard luggage, and they had kids that were loud and running around. I almost left the hotel, but we asked to be far away from this family! We were accommodated. All ok.
The accommodations were fine. The AC unit type in the room I don't like because they are noisy and blow cold on you!

The breakfast was not appealing . There is no coffee displayed throughout the day and night . The shuttle service took long from the airport . The driver was not nice , he kept mumbling under his breath because he thought that I was not going to give him a tip . Which I did .

We were very happy with our stay...
Great location for us, next to the airport for travel the next day. We were very impressed with how quiet our room was: didn't hear noise from neighbors or from airplanes. Bed was comfortable, good breakfast, nice size room, clean. Good selection of television options, including Netflix (you have to already have an account).

Bathtub is stained and old looking
Close location to airport. Comfortable beds. Snack food, microwave meals, and drinks available for purchase in lobby if needed. Nice pool and hot tub area.

.Not enough staff to cover check in or checkout. . Hotel had a bunch of phone calls to deal with that only left one person available. Would benefit by one more staff to handle incoming calls. Breakfast was good but needed more seating area to accommodate large amt of guests.
Friendly staff, good breakfast, shuttle service was good for us after arrival at airport & to the hotel. Was the best hotel price in the area. Location was good with fast food within walking distance. Felt safe. Third party bus transportation to the cruise ship was on time & affordable. Nice selection for free continental breakfast.

We were told we would be notified when our room was ready and that it would be by 3:00 P.m. but we didn’t get a call and finally went for dinner. When we came back, I asked about our room as we didn’t get a call, and the girl at the desk didn’t even apologize for not calling us. I felt this was rather rude. Also we had no hot water for our shower and I told them at the desk, but again all I got was we will look into it. We should have been given a credit in my opinion, we were going on a cruise and wanted to shower after our flight and before leaving on our cruise.
Location to cruise port. Nice clean hotel.

A horrible shuttle driver. Three rider’s luggage into luggage area. Not happy/friendly. Driver was dangerous- too fast , cornered to fast, hit the brakes way too hard causing passengers to pitch forward and sway left and right. Seatbelts were a mess - under seat cushions - none paired to wear. I will stay there again because it was a shuttle ride from hell!! Ps I have ridden a lot of airport shuttles in my life- this was by far the worst and mist dangerous to the riders.

We arrived at midnight and there were 5 of us in the room but only the two double beds were made up. We had to make up the sofa bed ourselves after travelling for 20 hours. Also there were only towels for four people.
