The staff made up for any lack the facilities had. I didn’t get everyone’s name , but Kathy, Ian and Stevin (I may have not heard their names correctly) were awesome!

Hotel is a bit run down, bathroom is very tired. Foam plates and plastic forks at breakfast are a little off putting but food choice wasn’t bad for a basic breakfast offering.

The bathroom needs to be updated. Some of the tile was cracked and discolored in the bathroom and roaches kept coming out of the shower drain at night! Every time we would open the refrigerator door it would pull the whole refrigerator out of place! It was very annoying. They only put complimentary decaffeinated coffee in our room, not regular coffee so we didn’t use it at all.

The beds were clean and the breakfast was good.

Cost, even with a AAA discount! The phone did not work! Night person came to room and was able to fix. I found the TV remote unclean and at the side of the nightstand floor! Never picked up. Bathroom shower curtain had a blue marker stain! Room was not checked well or vacuumed well. Debris under the desk (bottle cap). Reminded me of a kid being in there. Just did not give me a reason to feel bathroom completely clean and seemed dated! I am a retired Marriott employee and do not necessarily feel property is up to Marriott standards. Unsure if corporate property or franchise!

This could be a great hotel…but there was a bizarre mix of issues. Front desk asked me what my rate was…and also asked to change me from my reserved 2 queen room to a 1 king. No big deal, but odd. TV only had five working channels on tv (later I overheard front desk staff explaining to another guest that some of their older tv’s have problems). Building really needs sound proofing. I could hear people walking in room above me. Room door did no close quietly without turning and holding the handle…otherwise it closed very hard and loud. Garbage truck beeping at 4:30am woke us up. Bathroom sink drained very slowly.

The decor was nice. The breakfast was good. staff were friendly.

shower would not stay at any temperature. Turn hotter in 1/2 minute extremely hot. Turn cold same deal. I was sweating everyday so shower was necessary.

The attention to detail I experienced in the past was sadly lacking. It appears staff turnover is an issue, and it seems the maintenance person prefers to sit in his office rather than pay attention to requests: I brought a couple issues to the notice of the day staff on my first morning, letting them know I would be out for the day so they’d have plenty of time to fix the issues: when I returned, it was clear nothing had been done. In addition, the less-than-completely competent night clerk from night 1 had checked me out, even though my reservation was for 3 nights: at least the nice young man was able to rectify that situation. The mattress pad & fitted sheet no longer fit the bed, likely having been washed past the useful life, and no maid service, so I had to try to put the corner over the mattress in the middle of the night. If Miss Q leaves, I’ll be looking elsewhere.

Miss Q still runs a great breakfast buffet w/ options from scrambled eggs, breads, yoghurt, waffles, meats. The young man @ reception who is the private investigator is still competent and thorough.
