The man that checked us out was grouchy and behaved as though we were inconveniencing him, was visibly irritated and was rude. The mattresses were not great...kind of saggy. Some of the rooms smelled mildewy at first...maybe good to turn on a/c before guests arrive to alleviate that. Our rooms were not together and as we requested that, it would have been nice to have that. We only received one key per room, which was a little hard to navigate with 3-4 people sleeping in each room.

The lady that checked us in was very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and as advertised with the basic amenities. We loved the shampoo/bodywash dispenser in the bathroom because there was enough for everyone. The location was great for doing things downtown such as the World War I museum.

The front desk clerk we dealt with upon arrival was quite rude and off putting. Being disabled seniors, we asked for an early check in (email) and didn’t hear back. We went to the hotel anyway and the front desk clerk wouldn’t let us in and allowed the person ahead of us to do so. She was a woman of colour. The younger woman who operated the desk in the evening was very lovely and accommodating.

Parking lot was being sealed and had fresh tar spray. The water pressure very low on the 4th floor. Shower was bearly a trickle.

In order to sign on to the WiFi, you had to sign up for the Marriott Bonvoy members program. That felt forced. Not currently living in the USA, I need the WiFi to communicate home to my family while away. I had no choice.

I could hear people in neighboring rooms. I couldn't make out what they were saying, but I could tell they were talking to one another.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Blthe included breakfast was delicious and had a variety of foods.i would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the the city.

Booking.com did a poor job. They had a number of errors about the hotel which led to confusion and a clarifying call directly to the hotel. Attention booking.com: pay attention to detail!!!!! No excuse for your sloppy work.

Location and price were just right. We had an issue with a neighboring guest and the staff was quick to remedy the problem. Also, I don’t know her name but the kitchen staff was awesome.

Knowing about the shuttle before my hike, but the journey was beautiful. As a disabled person, I need to either arrive to my destination speedily, or know that I have many safe places to stop along the way, should I need essentials like water and a bathroom. I got really tired in the heat, without knowing about your shuttle service in advance.

If I stuck with services provided, and a shuttle, I would have stayed the second night that I paid for. Instead I went home and did laundry, and did not make it back. I was too tired.

Our 1st night stay, there was a very strong odor of marijuana throughout the entire building. Room smelled faintly stale as well.

The breakfast was good, but the selection could have been a bit broader, such as more fruit options and teas to drink.

The room was clean and well put-together, I felt that I had all that I needed to be comfortable during my stay. The staff were all very kind and friendly, I am grateful to them for creating a wonderful experience away from home.

Breakfast was not good. Advertised as Gluten-Free. This was a huge issue as it only had yogurt, oatmeal and turkey sausage. Scrambled eggs and hash browns or tater tots would have been nice. Also NEVER had decaf coffee
