Bathroom could have been a little cleaner. The tub in particular did not look like it had been fully cleaned and I needed to rinse it out.

The staff was friendly and helpful. And they provided both an early check in and early check out. Shuttle service to the airport was very convenient.

No mention that shuttle service ends at midnight. Due to inclement weather our flight was over 4 hours delayed. We arrived at 12:30am. Had to take a Lyft that took us to wrong hotel. One hour later we arrived at Fairfield and greeted by a wonderful young man!

We were put in a room next to an ice machine, which came on every few minutes and sounded like someone was teleporting into the room. We were tired so managed to sleep through it but it didn't make it easy. We left too early for breakfast as it's 6am on Saturdays, would have appreciated either a no-breakfast rate or a grab and go option as we had to pay for it with the room.

Hotel is in a great location, the airport is less than 10 minutes away and the hotel has a great shuttle service that starts running early. The beds are comfortable and it has all the sorts of amenities you'd expect e.g. hairdryer, basic toiletries. Great place to stay for a night before or after you fly.

The communication about our check-in was annoying. We were informed several times that the check-in is only possible until midnight. Our plane arrived later, so we contacted the hotel in advance and everything seemed fine. But we received another mail shortly before arrival that check-in is not possible after midnight. We called again and there was no problem at all. When we arrived, they even had a 24h reception. Don't know why they made such a fuss about the check-in time. Don't expect much for the breakfast, but we didn't even though it was complimentary, so no complaint here.

The hotel is close to Washington Dulles which is convenient - especially with the complimentary shuttle service. The shuttle only runs to midnight (we had to uber to the hotel since we arrived later than that). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very decent, more than enough to stay one night at. We were surprised that the breakfast was also complimentary, booking.com didn't mention that.

A microwave oven would have been helpful. Providing basic conveniences like a tooth brush kit, shaving kit would be helpful for one night business travellers.

The location is not ideal, as other than the Cracker Barrel there is nothing much around.

I booked simply to be close to the airport and the Cracker Barrel, which is next door. The hotel is not elegant but very nice and the room was comfortable and very clean.

I would like to see a reduction in disposable plates, cups and silverware at breakfast. This seemed very wasteful. It was difficult to find information on where the shuttle bus picked up from at the airport, with the result that we waited at the wrong stop and missed our stop first time around. Given that there are no signs indicating which hotel picks up from which stop, ideally it would have been great if the bus had stopped at both 2c and 2g.
