You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United States of AmericaWhen i made the reservation last week i reserved a queen with a pullout sofa. When i arrived the manager said my reservation was for a king, no pullout. He wanted to charge me $265 to upgrade. We told him of the error by bookings.com, but would not change the room. We had to make it work. I am not happy about this. I was very careful about making this reservation. Bookings made this error.

The charge was for incidentals and was refunded within 5-7 days.. as someone traveling to a different hotel nightly this charge is excessive. Also when booking with a 3rd party such as Booking you should be warned that there will be an excessive hold on the card when you go to check in.

United States of AmericaThat the reservation said "No pre-payment needed" and they did charge my card and then when I got there they charged it again for incidentals. I HELD the 2 rooms with my credit card with the impression we could use our own credit card once we arrived but they went ahead and charged my card 4 days prior to arrival for both rooms. I had emailed them at that time to ask about the " No pre-payment needed" and I got no replies... When we arrived I brought this up to the owner and she refunded the amount of the prepayments, my friends, in one room and we in the other were able to use our own card. But the incidentals shouldn't have been charged again.

United States of AmericaMy son liked the breakfast, but there were not enough options for gluten free.... no oatmeal, no gluten free bread, no bananas, etc. The place was very nice, but a little more than I wanted to pay. We came here after our stay at another hotel was less than desirable. I felt that covid protocols were not as clear or enforced as I would have liked.
Facilities were nice--very clean and updated, and beds were comfortable. Front desk clerk was friendly and welcoming. LOcation was convenient.
