The bed had a hump in the middle and two swales on either side. The bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

The staff is incredibly helpful and professional. The rooms are large and mostly clean. They supply a nice squishy pillow which most places don’t. They supply washcloths, which I have found to be a rarity in most hotels. The location is quiet but close to everything.

Very nicely decorated hotel, modern, clean and comfortable. Location was perfect, short taxi rides into centre. The room was a great size, had everything we needed and was quiet. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. On site parking convenient, staff very helpful.

Breakfast was just ok, there was a lot of breads. The hot options didn’t seem very fresh..

The hotel itself as well as our room were extremely clean and inviting. I have never seen a hotel restroom as clean as ours. The beds were very comfortable, there was a large TV, and there’s also little reading lights near the headboard of the beds. Good job, Fairfield.

These are all little things but the biggest disappointment was no bike rental on site. On booking.com this is listed under the facilities but we were told by reception we'd have to go onto the university campus & see if bike rental was available there. We had a car rental but would have preferred to cycle a bit rather than hiking or driving. The air con in the room was amazing but would have liked to be able to open the window for fresh air. We enjoyed using the gym & it has a good range of equipment but is missing a rowing machine. Perhaps this could be instead of one of the treadmills. We loved the bar but it was disappointing that it's not open every night. It was good to see recycling bins in rooms & around the hotel but then strange to serve breakfast with plastic cutlery & paper plates that weren't recycled.

This is a great hotel to be staying in. The location was ideal for us with lots of nearby shops & restaurants. Having a fridge & microwave was really useful. Plus the hot drinks in reception being available all day. Great coffee & decaf coffee. Breakfast was great too. We're pescatarian & the vegetarian patties were amazing. Good vegetarian range. The breakfast team are amazing too. Very helpful & friendly. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails (tues-thurs) at the bar. Amazing range. Nice to sit out in the patio area or at the bar. There were other nights when we would have loved to have had a drink from the bar but it was closed though... which was a shame. We were in a King suite which was amazing. Good sized TVs with great range of channels. Lovely bathroom. Bed was super comfortable. Everything was very clean. Great to have recycling bin in room as well & access to an ice machine with bucket provided for each floor. The cleaning team/room attendants were amazing. Was nice to use the pool at the end of a hot day. Decent gym too.

I found nothing to dislike about my stay. Even parking with my late check-in was close and easy.

Very good coffee was a big bonus. Had waffles for breakfast. They, too, were good. The manager gave me some apple juice on check-in as I am diabetic and was experiencing low blood sugar. If I find myself ovedrnighting in Gainesville again, I will be staying here again.

The breakfast lacked a little on the first morning, but was better the second. The pool is a bit small, but the kids didn't mind. Good service and nice room.
