To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThe staff seemed unprofessional and didn’t seem to know what they were doing. They didn’t walk us through the usual “hotel amenity” list. My room wasn’t ready and check in was at 3, I arrived after 4. There was a lot of cleaning staff still working on getting rooms ready, not sure what was going on. When I got to the room - the linens were clean but you could tell whoever made the bed just really didn’t care. Honestly not sure the hotel was worth the overall price I paid!
The location was good and the hotel itself it’s nice. Disappointed in the overall experience for the price I paid.

We stayed in a double queen bed suite. It was the perfect size to accommodate our family of 5. The breakfast was good and the staff was pleasant to deal with.

The property was nice. Had the option to park in a covered garage at no additional fee. Coffee was fresh I. The morning and breakfast wasn’t bad for everything being prepackaged (COVID safety).

The weather in Springfield that week was over 100° every day the hotel staff failed to get the air conditioning back on told me that it was on even though it hadn’t been on for 12 hours and the room was stuffy and hot and the thing weren’t going to do anything about it until the next day and they didn’t have another room to put us in. At that point I demanded my money back and a refund for the first night and we move down the street to Drury Inn.
