Staff was not quite as friendly as usual. Felt like an off day. Room on Third Floor was not near as nice as the room on the Second floor that we had a few days before, even though they were the same room style.

I didn't like that when I asked about a senior discount I was told I couldn't get one because I had already paid and that was not true. The last Marriott hotel we stayed at gave us the discount when we arrived and asked about it.

I liked the room with the 2 areas. One with the bed, the other with the sofa and desk.

Breakfast needs to be better. Toaster did not toast. Main offerings were a bit weak and bland. There was plenty of extra counter space. How about a waffle machine, or crispy bacon and more tasty eggs?

Breakfast bar on our first visit was lacking. No eggs, sausage, or fruit selection. It was better on our second visit returning from Las Vegas on Sunday.

Expensive for the area, microwave did not work so I was unable to warm up my dinner. Breakfast was only biscuits and gravy and ran out of coffee.

The lady who served breakfast only seemed happy when someone gave her a tip. Then there was a piece of bacon in the little holder and she picked it up with tongs and put it back in the bacon pan. We had already had some coffee. When we went for a refill the coffee we got was so weak I could see through to the bottom of the up, I told the server. She was about to bring a new coffee out and instead of saying I’m sorry about the coffee, maybe you can try this one. She said, “I don’t know how it would could be weak, the coffees are all brewed the same.” Then she offered to top the weak cup off with the new brew, and see if that helps. I asked her if we could pour it out instead. She stared at me for about two seconds. With hesitation, she grabbed my 2 cups and poured them out, and served me out of the new brew, then handed them back to me. I said, “thank you that’s so much better. I can see the difference in the color of the coffee. This one is definitely darker.” She said nothing. First, I worked in food service for years, if food has fallen anywhere outside of its intended containment then it goes in the trash. Not only is that common courtesy, but it is good hygiene. Also, if you were going to serve food to people, please be happy smile not just when someone gives you a tip. Mind you our, family did leave a tip in the tip container, because we know it takes a lot of work to prepare food. The tip was a reflection of our appreciation for the work, not that our server went above and beyond. Also, the pool, could use a little bit more attention. There were quite a few dead bugs in it, although we only swam in it for a few minutes. It is also not heated, but I take it that’s because it’s in the middle of Nevada and it’s generally hot in the day.

Although the suite was large and roomy, the furniture was stark and cold feeling. No closet space, only a few drawers to put clothes away. Bathroom was large but there was literally no counter space. Bathroom Door was very heavy and we felt that it opened the wrong way making it difficult, in the middle of the night, to access it. Ok for one night, not for extended visit.

People and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Very clean. Breakfast was good.

We had rude neighbors who kept us awake with their dropping things or moving the table that hit the wall. woke us up and kept us awake even with earplugs. The walls must be thin. breakfast needed some fruit

The sound of the shower was loud if you were in bed. It would have been nice if the bathroom door would have stayed open. It would also have been nice if a bottle of wine could be placed upright in the fridge.

The location was great. We had access to the freeway and it was close to town and golfing. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking was great. Loved the blackout drapes!

new and clean, nice decor , a very nice hotel and next door to wingers, my 9 yr old had a great time playing pool (at wingers) . good for one night. nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in Winnemucca
