No laundry for guests on premises. A little better selection of microwaveable meals in the pantry would be nice. Less sugary snacks perhaps.

The staff were amazing!!! Luke and John were my favorites; very polite, totally professional but friendly and down-to-earth. I’d just had surgery and before I even finished my sentence, John grabbed my bag for me at check-in. I stayed for 5 nights. I will go out of my way to stay there again when needed.

Rooms were a bit small, but overall comfy

The breakfast was fantastic. I love the fact that a full breakfast was offered with healthy options, not the normal hotel breakfast fare of waffles and eggs, but an actual breakfast with much to choose from. As a traveler I have stayed in many hotels, and I’m quite the picky one, but Kudos to you Fairfield! You nailed it!

The only aspect that let this hotel down was the breakfast choice. I can see that attempts have been made to accommodate intolerances/allergies but it would be even better if a more detailed description was provided as to how the food was prepared, i.e. cooked in oil, butter, etc. I can understand that this is what I would call 'budget' accommodation but even just the simple fact of providing proper plates and knives and forks would go a long way. Also, even though the wi-fi service was 'free' this only provided basic speed which wasn't up to scratch if you needed to do work on a laptop/computer unless you paid $4.99 for quicker speed.

The lovely touches of providing water in reception, fresh fruit in a bowl and herbal teas near the eating area was good to see plus the fact that a gym room was available really made this a good priced accommodation. Cleanliness is key to where I stay and can vouch that this accommodation lived up to that.

Housekeeping was limited. I stayed at the hotel for about 2 weeks and had my bath tub washed only once in that time period. As we were a family staying in a queen suite, a total of 3guests, the bathroom needed to be cleaned regularly. I had to get the cleaning products from housekeeping and clean the bathroom myself on 2-3 occasions while at the hotel. The essence of being in a hotel is being away from home chores so cleaning the bathroom in my hotel room by myself while on holiday was not satisfactory. We did however get a refresh every other day, when we got new towels and has the rubbish taken out.

Waffle/ Hotcake machine with syrup. Egg, bacon, grits? Coffee that's actually hot.

Breakfast need a little help. man spraying cleaning stuff around food that's sitting on the counter (cross contamination}. Bread soggy and not enough hot items. Coffee not hot and was bitter. Would have been better if the cleaning solution was sprayed on the towel then wipe the counter off.

The room wasn't as clean as we would have liked. It was clear that something had been spilled on the wall next to the bed. The AC did not cool the room well either without leaving it on continuously. The bed was super uncomfortable, which made for a rough night of sleep.

The location was perfect for what we needed. The front desk lady was very friendly and helpful. The price was decent as well.
