I was a bit taken back at first as the sheets were rather crumpled - they were clean but some ironing out of the wrinkles would have presented a better first impression.

The view from our room was nice. The room was large and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and clean. Parking was good and I liked the location which was in a quiet area away from traffic. Appreciated having breakfast included - there was enough variety to satisfy most guests. The staff were quite pleasant.

Odd thing, for a suburban, semi-rural hotel to tack on a $7 parking fee. I guess it's a super-creative (and SURPRISE!) way for the facility to get more money. The breakfast buffet - was AWFUL. Terrible, actually. Not what I'd expect from a Fairfield/Marriott property. All it had was cereal, muffins, bagels - the stuff typical of a very low-end continental breakfast. Yes, and hard-boiled eggs, cheese omelets that tasted more like detergent, pancakes under a lid, and sausages from the low-end bargain area of a supermarket.

We didn't like the parking fee. Not that it was high [$7] but the hotel was not IN the city, and had plenty of spaces that hotel guests could use.

The breakfast was a variety of warm foods, cereal and fruits. The Supervisor of the food room was pleasant and wanted to please. The facility was welcoming as were the people. We were placed on a different floor from the 5 teams staying there.

The hotel offers a pleasant experience with its spacious, well-maintained rooms. The staff at both the reception and the bar were friendly and attentive, ensuring excellent service. It unquestionably provides great value for the price, and I'd happily choose to stay here again if I find myself in the area once more.

I stayed for 1 night and for some reason my cards wouldn’t work when I was trying to pay for the deposit. And the way in which it was handled was fine for you guys but really not for me. I am travelling from Australia and I have a US card and an Australian card. I didn’t want to use the deposit on the US card as it takes time to come back on my card. So with limited days left, I lost US money which I’ll now get back when I’m back in Aus. This is all for 1 night stay. Common sense should come in sometimes and seriously they could have just let me skip the deposit for 1 night. I ended up having to use the US card. And the worst part about it they were ready to cancel my booking. Really bad form and left me with a sour taste.

The parking lot was large but filled up quickly so had to park further away from hotel and had field hockey gear and supplies that we were hauling back and forth. Not huge issue, but when you are tired and it is late it seems far.

The beds were comfortable and the room was large and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was convenient to our activities for a Springfield college field hockey event. It is just over the line so we could easily drive to the MGM casino in Springfield to see movies and visit restaurants in the surrounding area of the hotel. We checked in and noticed our ice bucket did not have a lid but the front desk was eventually able to locate one for us and bonus, the ice maker has pebble ice (like Chik-fil-a) and has a water fill station. The laundry room was clean and easy to use for my daughter's field hockey gear. The daily breakfast has a nice selection of eggs, breakfast meat, bagels, yogurt, cereal, etc. Ordered a chicken quesadilla from the pool bar for dinner one night and it was very good.

We were placed in a differently able room. It was great to see that they accommodate differently able people, but we didn't need that room and I would have felt awful taken up a room if a differently able person could have needed it.
