The only little thing is that personally I prefer a bath rather than a shower but although there was one, it didn't have a plug or the type of plughole that allowed you to put in your own. The shower worked fine, plenty of hot water.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years but this was the 1st time we had booked the delux room above reception so it was a bit more pricey but worth it for us - no adjoining rooms so no chance of noise evenings / early mornings. Main large bedroom, separate ante room with 2 armchairs, patio doors and a balcony, separate kitchen / bathroom area. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms, TV, microwave and fridge all working fine, lovely soft pillow for sleeping as well as the usual big ones. Windows face the rock and the sea so you get the sunset. Easy walk down to the front and on to the rock.

The room's wood rafters had cobwebs hanging down. Two of the chairs in the room Upholstery was older and looked outdated. Also, there was an odor in the room that someone was cooking food by Previous or current downstairs guests.

The bed was extremely hard and our hips and back hurt everyday.

The location although it’s across from a busy car wash we still love the view from the ocean front balcony. It’s walking distance to everything.

Lovely place right in the centre of things. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, clean and comfortable, with the updates done to the property recently making it even better. Short walk to lots of restaurants, the water front and local attractions.

The downstairs bedroom got a little noise from people walking upstairs (creaking wood). Basic amenities but good value for the location.

Fast and effortless checking & checkout. One upstairs room had high ceiling, quite spacious, and had a good view of the waterfront. Comfortable and clean beds. Clean bathrooms. Excellent location, a block from the waterfront of Morrow Bay.

There was no real view, which would have been nice and there was not a lot of daylight. The deco is a bit dated but functional. It would have been good to have some basic utensils to have a simple breakfast in the room. The price was a bit high for the offering but that is because it was a special weekend

Location is fantastic in terms of proximity to the waterfront and to restaurants. Room is a good size and well appointed. The bathroom is also a good size and well appointed. Parking was good. Staff were very efficient and friendly.

Although expectations were not exceeded, this is a good hotel/motel to stay in, we had no issues, it had all the basics, staff friendly, quick to attend reception, may be better with the ability to a small on the run breakfast, ie; pre order something to go, or toast facilities etc, but that is about it. I would stay at this hotel/motel again without hesitation.

A sleepy town by the bay, resembling the town from the first Jaws movie!! I would have liked time to explore the town, however, it was a stop on our way to San Diego. Friendly town people, friendly receptionist at the hotel, clean town, clean room, not too much to complain about in regards to the hotel nor the fantastic restaurant where we had dinner (Dutchman's Seafood House)!

I paid extra for a view of Morro rock, but it was blocked by a tree and partially by a building. I was very disappointed as that view is why I paid for this room. the view wasn’t what is on their profile

The hair dryer didn't work, the hotel manager was hard to locate, the baseboards were missing, the shower was poorly designed and the a/c and heating unit was very finicky the entire time.

Maybe because it’s winter, but the water in the shower was weird. It smelled like mold and the water itself was slimy. You are trying to wash yourself but it feels like your body and hair is still slimy.
