No bathroom fan. I expected to have one for odors and moisture.

The breakfast was hot and tasty. Good choices. The location was close to main roads and gas stations. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. Ladonna Williams, at the front desk, is a tremendous asset! She answered any questions with a smile.

Breakfast wasn't much. Room wasn't cleaned at all during our stay. Had to ask for towels multiple times. Going back to Marriott SpringHill Suites in April 2023.

The elevator wasn't working half the stay. Not to mention I have 3 children and 2 under the age of 5.

I was there Thursday through Sunday and never got one housekeeping visit. I fetched my own towels, dumped my own trash, and even ran out of tissue at one point. When this issue was brought to the front desk they said “oh, I don’t know why that would’ve happened” and didn’t offer any apology or additional assistance. Probably the worst Marriott hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

The exterior areas were all dirty, full of cigarette butts and general trash. The pool was dirty not recently vacuumed. Staff was present but not very cheerful except for the lady who checked me in.

The fact that the pool area was taken up by a very large party of locals the entire afternoon, which most were let in thru the side gate, is pretty sad. I could guarantee most of them didn't have a room there, so they got to enjoy the amenities for free with no restriction while I paid for them. Something needs to be done about that. It's every hotel around midland that I stay at, and just about every visit, it happens. Once the party was over, all the trash that was accumulated, beer bottles, pizza box's etc was left out for the staff to deal with. Pretty sad. This type of stuff will have people not wanting to come back. The internet TV was very slow.

The breakfast was just ok i have stayed at many towneplace hotels with the breakfast hours that are the same i travel for work so an early breakfast before work is great. I went down before heading out at 630 am it was closed when i asked about the hours i was rudely told its at 7 even when the sign says 6 monday to Friday. My daughter was sad she could not get something to eat before school. I had to stop at McDonald's for her to eat. Little upset with the hours and how the staff talked to me and my wife.

I do like how there is a grocery store nearby. I love heb and to be within walking distance was great. Great location to my kids school easy for when i came in to visit from traveling with work.
