Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Some of the finishes didn't look professional. For example, Tile didn't meet at the tub, and the bathroom door didn't latch. But overall, I am very happy

Very busy weekend. Short staffed. The male receptionist was a bit overwhelmed and irritated with guests and all of the requests. No extra pillows available. Good food in the restaurant. The female receptionist had an adorable dog, however she did allow it to go to the bathroom in the rock area and didnt clean it up..gross! Our room was very comfy and clean.

Bathroom fan was loud and needed replacement. Bed creaked and was not very comfortable.
Nice room and facility. Restaurant on site was very good and reasonably priced. Staff was nice.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Fire pit out front was an added bonus. On site restaurant/bar was very nice. There is a steak joint next door but their food was not acceptable. On site restaurant is much better.

The facility is not totally handicapped accessible. There was no door opener. There is a threshhold, but it is a small one. The bathroom was a tub shower. The handicap parking spaces need to be van accessible, so you can use a wheelchair. We did not eat breakfast there. We were going to have it in the restaurant with family, but it was not open so we went outside to a restaurant and did not use the furnished breakfast. It looked very crowded there with only one table to seat people. The table was in use and other people were seated in the LR furniture.

T All the beds are like sleeping on a table, and they don't have any mattress toppers. One pillow case was dirty/used. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the one frape was broken.

No elevator or daily service/cleaning of your room. You had to go get clean towels and such from the front desk.

The breakfast was horrible for the price you pay to stay
Love the rooms as there was no icky carpet it was beautiful hardwood floor, the room was a good size and convenient location

I felt this was very high priced for what we got. The continental breakfast was okay but not comparable to any other places I've stayed. Our bathroom was very much in need of a renovation and the door wouldn't even latch. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was filled in (a sign said it was undergoing renovation) and no mention of that on the website.
We enjoyed the lower level pool table in the bar as well as the outdoor patio area. We didn't try the resaurant but the menu looked good. Location was nice for what we had planned. Hotel staff were friendly.

Stop using styrofoam. Would like to see more healthy food options for breakfast.

Water pressure in shower was terrible. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were small and hard. You only get two towels for two people.
Breakfast was a nice had a nice variety. Very clean.

pull out sofa is probably the most uncomfortable pull out sofa ever. our kids didn’t sleep because the springs/coils were jabbing them. the hot tub was closed, which was a bummer.

It wasn't the hotel's fault that they had hail damage to the roof and the roofers were there just finishing the large complex. Because of that the pool area was closed but it looked awesome.
The continental breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant. The whole complex is lovely with "up north" decor that fits with the recreation area. They have an on-site restaurant which we didn't try but it looked lovely and the prices reasonable.

Didn't get clean towels the 2nd day. Only 1 table to eat breakfast, had to stand.
