Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOwner could not find our reservation even though it was right in front of him. He didn't want us or his employees to help him. Threre was a little confusion at first and had to keep showing him my ID.
Location was great, right across from the Village. Comfortable with balcony, wife would not go out onto it but I did.

United States of AmericaI didn’t like the checking in because it was confusing which lead to us being put in the wrong room. Then while taking a nap was startled when room door was open because it was supposed to be someone else’s room . Bummed out that we got stuck in the smaller room.
I like the location. I liked that it was walking distance to The Village.

United States of AmericaCeiling fan was noisy, sounded like it was about to fall apart on any speed except low. Shower head bracket was in the side wall at waist height rather than overhead, so we could not use it hands-free.
Very picturesque. Easy walk to Lake Arrowhead Village. The great room was very well decorated. Friendly and helpful staff. Check in and check out we’re super-easy.

United States of AmericaWe were looking to get away from Los Angeles for the weekend. Our last visit we stayed at the Lake Arrowhead Resort but their prices were really high this time of year. After a bit of searching I decided to reserve the Villa at the Fluer de Lac. There was heavy traffic so we arrived two hours late on a Friday evening. The hotel was easy to find, with easy parking. We went to the front office and called Roscoe and Isabelle came down and gave us a room key and showed us our room. I have a 6 year old boy, so the canopy bed, jacuzzi tub, spiral staircase and upper floor were perfect for us. The tv has a satellite hook up so it comes with HBO, Showtime etc. the remote wasn’t the best, but we didn’t spend a lot of time watching tv. The location is great, right next to the village. Visitors have 24 hour access to a full kitchen and a coffee maker with pods and a full selection of tea in the main lobby. The grounds have a European flair with plenty of places to eat outside. Isabelle will escort you to the private beach although there isn’t much parking if you go later in the day. She was a great host and the price can’t be beat.

United States of AmericaThe linens appeared worn and old. Very small rooms. The hostess was a bit rude when I asked if they had laundry facilities, she made a commented "for the amount of money you spent on the room you shouldn't expect so much" ...what?? That was strange, and a bit out of line. They published the room for a price, and I booked it. What a strange comment.
The location was fantastic. Near Lake Arrowhead shops and restaurants.

United States of AmericaThe general vibe is what you see in the pictures--kind of out dated decor, large furniture, a little dusty. Our booking listed kitchenette details, but I think refers to the shared kitchen because we didn't have any of these in our room. We really didn't spend much time in the room and aren't too picky. If we stayed again, it would mostly be for the location and price.
My friends and I stayed in the Villa. We went mid-Feb, in between snows, which was beautiful (do beware of the stairs). We ran into Roscoe upon arrival and he showed us our room; otherwise I guess check in is down the stairs in the shared area. The location is great. A short walk to the village. -Pizza right down the hill was good! -Lake Arrowhead Brewing Company-great brewery on the edge of the Village. There was a food truck when we went. -Lake Arrowhead Boat Tour was a really nice way to see the lake. It's a 50 minute tour and you can by tickets at LeRoy’s Boardshop right by the dock. We bought our tickets an hour before (I think they only sell day-of) and got a coffee up the stairs while we waited. -The Grapevine had a brie bread bowl :0 and a lot of other good looking food that we didn't get to try. Right on the lake with in and outside seating.
