bed mediocre at best - yes, i'm a bit particular on this because I have back issues and i just think it could use a heavier bed ..my friend enjoyed her sleep so not bad!

Beautiful location & close to Joshua tree park with a car. Great for stargazing and toasting marshmallows! Perfect little stay with everything you need. Host is fantastic at responding and offers a great manual/directions for the home.

The main house is located in the dirt but is easy to get following the manager’s instruction. The room feels cozy and homely. Every detail is user friendly. The kitchen utensils are complete. We enjoyed homemade dinner and breakfast. The furniture is nostalgic with details driving us to the past time. The service is great with text messages reminding the checkin and checkout. Our family had a memorable Thanksgiving stay at the property. Highly recommend!

Incredible location, unlike anywhere we've ever stayed before. Thank you for a truly unique experience in the desert! The sunset and sunrise were equally beautiful and hearing coyotes calling during the night was a wonderful bonus.

Nothing, we loved everything about this place.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. House is well equipped, it has everything that you could possibly need. Joshua Tree National Park is about 20 minutes away, Walmart and fast food places are about 30 minutes away. We recommend stargazing, if you are lucky you will hear a coyote :)

The water pressure is a little low but I already had expected that.

Its super clean and quiet and easily accessible everything you need is there great to go for a weekend and relax the host is also super friendly and replies fast.

The shower is a little light in flow but due to its location then this is a small price to pay. I doubt they have much water pressure in the desert

Nothing really. Fully want I expected from the online picture.

Remoteness (not for everyone), end of the line feel. Overlooks the mountains with town lights on the low horizon. Quiet, peaceful. Good place to work. A rustic cabin feel with nice artifacts but extremely functional. A shortish drive to Joshua Tree NP. A good place to sit out the heat of the day before exploring late afternoon. Short section of unsealed section of road but this was not a problem, at least this time of year (summer). Host very attentive and available. Will book again if I return.

We loved the fresh eggs. The location worked well for us, easy access to Joshua Tree Park. It was quiet and private and kitchen was well stocked. Patricia was very friendly and communicated well with us when we had questions. It was great that we could bring our dog. We spent the majority of our time outside - ate outside, played board games at night outside, two of us slept outside.
