Everything was great except the instructions / directions to our room. We were in building 5 and the instructions on how to get to our room were very vague. We wandered around with our baggage in hand for about 30 minutes before finally finding a staff member who directed us.

Rooms were not ready. While checkin time is 4, we got our rooms after 45 mins. Also front desk team need to smile and greet customers a little bit. not welcoming experience.

We were told when we booked that we could use the spa with a $40 day pass on the day we didnt have services. When we got there we were told no, it was full. Then when we stopped in the next morning to see if anyone had possibly canceled and they might have room for 3 of us, we were told they don't do day passes on Saturday ever, then when we checked out after our services on Sunday, we were told we could have used the spa on Saturday. When someone is checking in and they are going to be there for Saturday, the spa needs to be clear that there is no availability on Saturday.

Our room was a bit run down. We’ve stayed here before and we’re just surprised at the state of our room. Cracks in the wall and ceiling.

The temperature in all common spaces was freezing!

All common spaces were so cold even walk through hallways. When we Sat to visit in one of the several conversation areas... We'd have to wear an extra layer / winter coat.

I had to wait 2hrs before I got my dinner at the in house resturaunt 240 west. We arrived before many people yet we were the last to get our food and to leave.

Prices, for example, a glass of wine was $17, and I found the SAME wine at aldi for an entire bottle was $9.....so quite the rip off.

The Abbey has a great vibe to it. The dark wood timbers make for a great atmosphere! The pool and spa area are great. We've been coming to the Abbey for over 25 yrs and will continue to. Keep up the good work!

Difficulty finding parking. Wedding after-parties were happening in room next door to us at 3 am.

Loved the access to the day spa, comfy beds, clean rooms. Nice getaway for sure.

It would have been nice to recieve a crib sheet and baby blanket with the pack and play, like most hotels provide. We were provided a regular sheet, which is a liability to use with a baby in a crib. The movie in the outdoor space was also blaringly loud when I was trying to put my children to sleep. The movie was as loud as an outdoor wedding and seemed kind of silly to trivialize the audible comfort of many guests for a few guests to enjoy a movie.

Room was tidy with comfortable mattresses and plenty of room. We requested a pack & play and it was delivered immediately after we arrived in our room.

Only downside was at 240 west I accidentally ordered the wrong wine- I was pointing to the red wine section and asked about one- she said oh the Savignon Blanc and in my head she said cabernet sauvignon and I said yes- when I said oh I never drink white wine- there was no offer to get me a new one. I sucked it up but for an expensive restaurant it would have been nice to offer. That being said- my burger was amazing and the rest of the meal was great!

The updated rooms! We typically stay at another resort but we come up to lake Geneva many times a year and have stayed at the abbey plenty of times over the years. It had been a couple years since we stayed here and when I saw the new upgraded rooms I was pleasantly surprised! We will definitely be coming here more now!
