Where to start ok here goes there was a pile of garbage in front of our door the room smelled so bad we had to open all the windows it said breakfast was included when in reality there wasn't even coffee available holes in walls the hole in floor was duck taped no shower curtain just all around awful so disappointed

Cleanliness of the room. rwo sets of lights did not work so it was quite dark. two thin towels, no washcloths or bath mat. no wastebasket buildings are not marked well the inside door was visibly dirty. cleaning it would have only taken a minute of work

Blud stains on sheets, only 2 pillows and 1 didn't have pillow case. Nothing to take shower. No soap, no face claws or anything.. it reflects the 50$ .

I stayed there because I was transitioning from one city to another and in the meantime I was looking for a home to rent…. I a and my family choose the Hawthorns because what we saw in the pictures looked like it would accommodate a family of six, well that was a mistake, first off the first room they put me in smelled like urine and deification from someone’s pet, plus the refrigerator didn’t work and it took them days to move our room, the second one we went to was okay until we took the sheets off the mattress to spray and put out personal sheets on and the mattress was bloody, which my oldest daughter took pictures of. Lastly it was very unsafe to stay there, all I heard was gun shots and people arguing in the middle of the night and breaking glass all around the parking lot. After I left the property they were still charging me, so I reached out to them and they told me to contract my bank because it wasn’t showing up on there end, yet those charges processed and they are not trying to help the situation in no kind of way except for they keep saying talking to your bank which I had to get my card cancelled and report a fraudulent claim to my bank….Not to mention they played favoritism. One person might pay a different rate than another person all because the person might have been a drug dealer or a user, so I guess it’s safe to say that Hawthorn is a drug infested hotel.

It’s nothing like the pictures everything was old and falling apart. The cleaning service is terrible I had to ask 6 times for new sheets and they still never brought them finally I went down to the office and made them give me sheets and I put them on myself, I didn’t even use the oven in my room it looked like it had no been cleaned in months. I will not stay here again.

The room was dirty smelled like wet nasty dog floors hadn't been vacuumed swept or mopped rain poured inside the door there was no coverage had people on drugs across the walk from our room. Not enough towels and there was no breakfast per the website saying breakfast included big disappointment.

The size of the room was comfortable and it had a kitchenette.

The grounds were pretty trashed. Our room wasn’t cleaned very well, lots of crumbs and even sharp things on the floor. They are dog friendly but definitely check the floors for dangerous objects so they don’t swallow them. no poop bags for the dogs either. We had no garbage can, no toilet paper. Sheets and towels had stains all over them.

Room was spacious. location was very close to the basketball convention center we needed to get to. we felt pretty safe in the area after settling in. other guests and staff were helpful and nice. minimal to no noise, pretty relaxed area.

Rooms are filthy, dried vomit on the floor and side of our bed. The whole place looks like it could fall apart at any moment. It has gone downhill so fast, it was purely disgusting. We stayed about 5 years ago it was a great place, thays why we came back. We will never make that mistake again. The dumpster were overflowing with garbage, we had to run to our room along with another guest because of loose dogs on the property, we were told the guests with those dogs "lives" there. Trash everywhere, dirt has eroded from the roots of the trees and they stick way up and we tripped over them. I could go on and on. The worst part is after our stay we checked the reviews, these things have been said for a few years and no change. Sad to see such a beautiful property that we had enjoyed in the past turn into such junk so fast.

The lady at the front desk was so great, very kind and quick at her job! Got me checked in and directions to the room quickly and she was so friendly. She could use updated equipment to do her job without the hassle for her, but she was a superstar with what she had.
