Minor things but place needs a renovation at some point, several flies in room needed to be taken care off, otherwise reasonable clean. As usual in mid priced hotels in the US you get these cheap, noisy heat/AC units.

good location and for Boston reasonable price. Nice staff and everything you need super close.

Tea & coffee was an excellent choice at the reception area but would have preferred if it was available out of hours also . The bigger family room was great however it did overlook another room window . I understand that the window glass was protected but then when the guests of that room had their window open you could see in slightly. It did not impact on our stay but more so that we had to keep the curtain on that side of the window closed to retain privacy from our room

Room was spacious & clean .

The lone coffee maker for the entire hotel was broken- they didn't offer another option ( ie a kettle), but did get it fixed the day before the marathon.

Room was quite small. Construction going on in the building next door, so noisy during the week days. Street is noisy at night with traffic. It's an older hotel with a small reception area and old elevator. Ex

Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! This is my favorite hotel in Boston because of it's location, cuteness and family style friendliness of your staff. We were there for my daughter's graduation from college - everyone kept wishing her congrats and best of luck. It was a lovely stay

The room had almost no natural light and was very small. It also doesnt really have anywhere to sit. But for the location and price and the staff, I'd still recommend it.

All of the staff were so friendly and kind. Very helpful during check-in and check out. The room and bathroom were clean, . Bed was comfortable enough, ours was a mattress on a low platform - a little strange but not a deal breaker!

Room was quite small with window opening into small and dark inner yard. Then again, given the price that was ok. And I was not intending to spend my time in the room anyway.

Convenient location near theatres and parks. Friendly and very helpful personnel.Good price. Well maintained hotel with personality and history.

The carpets in the room smelled musty. The room had a really awkward layout. There was no proper space to open up our suitcases due to the layout and we ended up opening them on the corridor after the door. The coffee/tea machine was not working for the first two days.

It was very close to the Boston Marathon bus loading and finish line, which was the primary purpose for staying there.

Sadly, no lounge area for sitting, waiting, having a cup of coffee or tea or to chat with a colleague, family member, etc. No breakfast or food was offered. No refrigerator or microwave. Not providing breakfast No possibility to get coffee or thee. Only suggest it would be helpful to have a little kitchen on the basement where you could have a utensil station so that we could make our drinks ourselves.

It is conveniently located in Boston’s Theather District in the hearth of downtown. The location is 5 min walk away from Boston Common and everything else you would need is in walking distance. They had a 24h front desk and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in mixed dorm room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Each bed equipped with it's own privacy curtains. En suite bathroom was immaculate as were the linens and the room in general. Secure locker provided for each individual. Extremely comfortable mattress and perfect temperature for a restful sleep. The bathroom was always stocked with plenty of towels. Boston is a quite expensive city. As the room had all the basic amenities I am glad that I booked it.

It would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the room. Minifridge is always a good thing to have as well. The room needs some ventilation.

Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom has toiletries which is always nice to have. Staff during the day hours was very helpful . there is a security box in the room. Public Parking was very close.

The property is dated and showing its age and wear… the carpet in my room was disgusting, faded and old. The bathroom was clean, smelled of bleach (which I loved) but the floor of the shower moved when I stepped on it.

The location is great, close to restaurants, shopping etc.

Personally don't love a top sheet, blanket, second top sheet situation.

Room was a great size with large suitcases and still plenty of floor space. Still cold in March and we were warm and cozy! Bathroom was also spacious and lovely design - exceeded expectations. Close to public transport stations and the Common.

Poor sound isolation. You can hear about everything going on in neighboring rooms and the entrance lobby, on top of (what I assume were) the water/gas pipes in the walls were making tons of noise. Make sure to bring earplugs or noise-canceling earware.

Helpful personnel. The room is very cramped but for the price the location and available necessities are great.

Carpet feels a bit old, the room feels old with visible pipes on the ceiling. Someone walked into my room by mistake even though I had the sign “do not disturb” on my door.
