Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaMinor things but place needs a renovation at some point, several flies in room needed to be taken care off, otherwise reasonable clean. As usual in mid priced hotels in the US you get these cheap, noisy heat/AC units.
good location and for Boston reasonable price. Nice staff and everything you need super close.

IrelandTea & coffee was an excellent choice at the reception area but would have preferred if it was available out of hours also . The bigger family room was great however it did overlook another room window . I understand that the window glass was protected but then when the guests of that room had their window open you could see in slightly. It did not impact on our stay but more so that we had to keep the curtain on that side of the window closed to retain privacy from our room
Room was spacious & clean .

United States of AmericaRoom was quite small. Construction going on in the building next door, so noisy during the week days. Street is noisy at night with traffic. It's an older hotel with a small reception area and old elevator. Ex

United States of AmericaStaff was amazingly friendly and helpful! This is my favorite hotel in Boston because of it's location, cuteness and family style friendliness of your staff. We were there for my daughter's graduation from college - everyone kept wishing her congrats and best of luck. It was a lovely stay

United States of AmericaThe room had almost no natural light and was very small. It also doesnt really have anywhere to sit. But for the location and price and the staff, I'd still recommend it.
All of the staff were so friendly and kind. Very helpful during check-in and check out. The room and bathroom were clean, . Bed was comfortable enough, ours was a mattress on a low platform - a little strange but not a deal breaker!

MalaysiaThe carpets in the room smelled musty. The room had a really awkward layout. There was no proper space to open up our suitcases due to the layout and we ended up opening them on the corridor after the door. The coffee/tea machine was not working for the first two days.
It was very close to the Boston Marathon bus loading and finish line, which was the primary purpose for staying there.

SpainSadly, no lounge area for sitting, waiting, having a cup of coffee or tea or to chat with a colleague, family member, etc. No breakfast or food was offered. No refrigerator or microwave. Not providing breakfast No possibility to get coffee or thee. Only suggest it would be helpful to have a little kitchen on the basement where you could have a utensil station so that we could make our drinks ourselves.
It is conveniently located in Boston’s Theather District in the hearth of downtown. The location is 5 min walk away from Boston Common and everything else you would need is in walking distance. They had a 24h front desk and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I stayed in mixed dorm room with 2 sets of bunk beds. Each bed equipped with it's own privacy curtains. En suite bathroom was immaculate as were the linens and the room in general. Secure locker provided for each individual. Extremely comfortable mattress and perfect temperature for a restful sleep. The bathroom was always stocked with plenty of towels. Boston is a quite expensive city. As the room had all the basic amenities I am glad that I booked it.

NetherlandsPoor sound isolation. You can hear about everything going on in neighboring rooms and the entrance lobby, on top of (what I assume were) the water/gas pipes in the walls were making tons of noise. Make sure to bring earplugs or noise-canceling earware.
