-Had difficulty opening the room door. I had to call Sounder to get the hack-"Pull the door tight while putting in the number. " It's not cool. You should fix the door and get a new lock or door. View of garbage station out the only window.

Stains on the carpet and had a funny smell. Bed was a little uncomfortable. If you have a low ridding vehicle, the garage will scratch up the front.

The hotel itself is old. It’s covered in this old, outdated carpet and the room was very humid despite the weather being quite cool outside (60s) during our stay. This conveys to me that the building is old, has poor insulation, and hasn’t been renovated in a long time. It’s not worse than a 3 star hotel though certainly no better. The location is also why you’re paying a lot less than alternatives in Santa Monica which can certainly get $$$. There’s not really anything around - there’s a Starbucks that you can walk to within 5 mins, everything else is more like a 15 min walk.

The lobby area of the hotel is nice. It’s relatively updated and has plenty of space to work if that’s something you need during your visit. Entry into the building was secure and easy. We didn’t have any trouble with noise and the room had everything we needed.

The hotel wasn't really walkable from anything - but that's just LA anyway! It was a 10 min taxi ride into the centre of Santa Monica.

Fabulous hotel and fantastic price for Los Angeles. Lovely communal area with pool table and we couldn't have hoped for better parking facilities either.

Bar area wasn't complete or wasn't quite sure if you could use it yourself. Quite noisy road as you'd expect in busy LA area but earplugs were provided.

Great sized room with everything you need. Simple nice decor, easy check in and out no waiting around, free parking first come first serve basis. Location was okay for the price only a short taxi to main Santa Monica area/pier, close to Brentwood which was nice to explore and Bergamot Station Art gallery

Your front desk staff were fabulous And kind well done in that regard. Your cleaning staff could use some help. Two days my room was not cleaned until after 4 o’clock, nor was my daughter’s room and in addition the cleaning staff left my daughters room open. That did not make us happy at all

The toilet wasn't cleaned that well. Toilet paper was very cheap, single ply. Carpet was old and dusty. First come first serve parking isn't great.

We did experience a couple of issues. The bathroom sink was clogged, and a continually alarm sound came out of the heater. The sink was repaired, but we were told the heater issue couldn't be repaired, and the accommodation for a room equal to the unit we requested wasn't available.

The security was very helpful in getting us into the building when we had issues with our entry codes. The restaurants were close. The patio provided fresh air and private access to being outside without having to leave the unit.

The room was heavily sprayed with febreeze which made us feel like something was being covered up. The beds were not very comfortable and the carpet had stains. Overall, it was a decent price for LA.

The room was large, it was nice to have coffee and tea available. We appreciated the free parking.

Room walls have almost no isolation, we can clearly hear the conversations from next door. We have had a stressful night due to guests in the next room have a noisy “bed activity”. If not with kids we wouldn’t care that much but families planning to stay there bear this risk in their mind. Beside front desk, personnel are very nice and welcoming, I really can’t say anything bad for the hotel beside noises from neighbor rooms.

Rooms are newly remodeled, very clean and nicely decorated. We have stayed 3 days as family with 2 teenage kids and room size was really good to accommodate us with large luggages. Personnel are very helpful and kind.

The rooms are not so good isolated, we were hearing someone walking above us during the night. Clean of the room is not included, it has an additional fee of $40. There wasn’t any vending machine to buy some drinks or food, although there is a comercial area for n front of the hotel.

Good location, parking included, good shower and big screen at room. Staff was friendly, there was a billar downstairs to play a game and relax. Close by car to Santa Monica Pier and Beverly Hills.

1. Prior to my arrival I have received a multiple emails stating "ACTION NEEDED - please complete your pre-arrival verification". Every single time I click on the either link (there were 2 provided in each email) NONE of them was working... The company that owns the hotel should update their website prior to sending emails to their guests. 2. The facility could use a restaurant for breakfast. 3. While the front desk clerk was very nice, I was not informed about a nearest restaurants, things to do, or a wifi log in. 4. The hotel definitely need an ice machine - I couldn't find one anywhere so I asked a front desk person to get me some ice from their break room.

The hotel has a great location on the west side of LA, just a few minutes drive from Santa Monica and the beach. The property was very basic, but clean and quiet with a security on site.

The location was a little bit in a liminal space--kind of close to locations but also quite far away. There were easy access to bus locations and very easy to take an Uber anywhere and you're not too far away.

Staff were incredibly lovely and helpful and went above and beyond even without being asked to, building super nice and clean, the facilities were great and far more than I expected them to be also.

The location wasn’t extremely convenient if you don’t have a car just because it’s not walking distance to Santa Monica or Venice Beach so you have to Uber, and then it’s not close to the rest of LA attractions (particularly with traffic). The bunk beds had a bit of a hostel vibe but was very nice and well finished.
