Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaBasement/lower floor where you grab ice creeped me out a little.
It's a great location. The hotel itself is fine ("fine" seems like the best word). It's not particularly good or particularly bad. What I would expect for the price.

United States of AmericaI would recommend to bring your own toiletries. There are liquid pump dispensers of bathing liquid, shampoo and conditioner. But the shampoo doesn't really bubble. I prefer using a bar of soap to bathe and brought toiletries with me. The provided hand soap is a thin round soap that can't really double as a bathing soap. The soap dish on the sink does not drain water and I flipped it upside down so the soap could dry out between uses. I prefer a firmer mattress and pillows. But my friend had no complaints about the bed. Four down pillows are provided per bed and can easily be stacked for sleeping. There are no ice buckets or ice plastic liners. I happen to travel with Ziploc bags and Yeti Coolers so I was able to keep my ice from melting too fast. There is an ice machine downstairs but water mixes with the ice. If you put a bag of ice in the freezer it will freeze as a solid block. And the bottles of water if left in the refrigerator for more than one day will freeze. The price dropped $100.00 USD before my stay and the hotel would not match the price revision. I didn't want to risk loosing the reservation by rebooting it.
The Rose the onsite restaurant and bar was an odd spot. We came in the evening to grab a night cap. A double shot of bourbon with ginger ale was $35. The floor walking to the bar has a visual effect to look as if water is on the floor. They were hosting Salsa Night and at first were confused if we didn't pay the entrance fee but there was no charge as hotel guests. There were only four salsa dancers. It's a very small space and they are not currently using the outdoor areas. I asked what fruit was on the weekend fruit bowl and the staff couldn't tell me. If you leave the hotel and make a right on the block is Johny's Luncheoette which serves breakfast in a quaint counter area (see ATM machine), Smithfield Hall (Bar and Grill), and a pizza restaurant. The hotel is a 22 story narrow building. There are only a couple of rooms per floor. We were on the 20th floor facing the WTC building Freedom Tower. I had purchased collapsible traveling hangers but the armoire had 10 wooden hangers with a slacks bar or clips for a skirt. There I was only traveling with dresses so I had extra space for additional hangers. I wear a women's size 7 and was able to keep 4 pairs of shoes in the armoire that also houses the ironing board. We were in a room with two double beds and there is a space under the foot of the beds and the sides if you opt to leave luggage, totes, and shoes in these areas. I asked for a cube refrigerator on my reservation and called the day of check in to follow up on my request. I did get the refrigerator but it ran very cold. Prior reviews are correct that the hotel provides free bottles of water and has recycling on site. There is a sunscreen shade that you can still see out if as well as a black out curtain. Recommend leaving sun shade down when not in room to keep room cool. My friend did not want the room cleaned while she was in town.

United Arab EmiratesI called the property before booking them and asked about the parking. They told me that the parking is only $35 per day. However, when im in the hotel they told me that i need to pay for $50 for an SUV, so im okay to pay $50 for self parking. When im in the parking area (which far from the hotel and its a 3rd party) the parking staff told me to go out. I just realized that they will only accommodate valet parking because they stacked cars next to each other, they charge $70 per day. The parking fee is so expensive in newyork but for me its ok to pay extra than putting your car in the street which is not safe at all. I just want the hotel to know more about their parking partners fee because is it disappointing to pay extra than what i am expecting and what they have told us over the phone. It affects the hotel integrity too.
The best location, near to all landmarks.

CanadaThe daily rates going up over $100 a night during our stay. The same room, on our last night, Wed the 21st was $100 more than Sunday night when we checked the in. We weren’t even there on a wknd! As soon as the official first day of summer came on June 21st our rates went up. I can see if someone booked that day, but we reserved in advance and booked June 18-22. I’m really disappointed.

United KingdomOnly 2 lifts, one was out of order for 3 days if our 7 day stay. Room and storage was too small for the 3 of us staying. The hotel’s processing of International credit / debit cards did not work. Caused me a massive problem. My UK bank confirmed the card was being rejected was due to the hotel processing it incorrectly, but the hotel denied this. While in New York at restaurants, subways, attractions etc., and in another hotel in Providence RI I did not have any problems using my card. International card users be warned !
