Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaElevator was quite a ways from front desk but not a big issue, just a little strange. Could not get a receipt at checkout unless I paid 1.53. They did email it for free but I think that is wrong.
In the process of changing from a Sheraton to a Marriott. Had room on 4th floor that appeared to be remodeled and had plank floors-no carpet. Easier to clean and easy to know when it has been cleaned.

United States of AmericaThe hours for the restaurant are posted online incorrectly and the bartender was rude in telling me the bar had just closed. Freeway makes for a noisy night.

New ZealandWe had a plant stollen from the parking lot ~ yes, we were travelling with plants. And we were using the pool with our infant and a group of approx 10 teenage boys came in and we’re bombing/diving so we had to exit.
Pool was great and the room was spacious for our family of three.

United States of AmericaI didn't have breakfast at the hotel. The price is too high for a typical hotel breakfast. Food in the restaurant could be better for the price charged,

United States of AmericaThough it was very nice, the upgrade to our room got us a bigger room but we had two queen beds instead of one king which we wanted. The bathroom was a little dim and small but it wasn’t terrible. It took us some investigating but the bath tub blows air out of holes in the bottom and makes a lot of noise if it thinks there is water in it. Because of the shower mat, it continued to make this loud noise until we figured out how to make it stop. It was a slight inconvenience.
Very clean, very close to the airport with a shuttle, comfortable. They upgraded our room because we were staying there the night of our wedding.

United States of AmericaThe restaurant was clearly hit with more business than expected, so our wait was a bit long - not a huge deal. I was a bit taken aback, given COVID, when the waitress licked her thumb and she counted each bill when giving me change.
The Marriott brand is so reliable, and surprise, everything we anted and needed after 14 hours of driving from San Diego, including a deluge that almost made me delirious, was exactly what the hotel delivered. We had dinner available on-site, a beautiful room, a super safe setting in hotel central by the airport, and easy freeway access in the morning as we headed off for Montana.

United States of AmericaWe were there later in the day and used the pool in evening . Maybe at the peak travel season the pool can be closed for 30 mins to clean? It was really very dirty by the time we used it and the whole pool area just seemed like it didn’t match how beautiful the hotel was.
