We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaThere was no staff on site. When I couldn't get into my room because the lock key code didn't work, I was at the mercy of a cleaning lady who thankfully happened to be there. It was not a good value considering there was no staff there to help me or to direct me to town or any other resources. I was surprised by this as I didn't realize it when I booked it. I like face to face unless I'm at an Airbnb. It probably shouldn't be called a hotel if it's more like a self-serve place. There was no art in the room or rug on the floor so it felt stark. I couldn't tell if the bedspread was washed every time or if it's the same one the last people used.

United States of AmericaThe bed was so close to the heating/cooling unit. Your head lays right next to it. It was very disruptive and caused a bit of disruption. The room was so small that I'm not sure there could be a different setup, though. My husband was a trooper, and he took that side. Otherwise, it was very nice for a one night stay.
