The building needs some TLC. At least the roof was being repaired. Also, the lack of a pool was a liability.

The room was clean, and everything worked. The staff members were courteous and helpful.

The floors were greasy and you can tell they don’t clean it very often, some of our outlets didn’t work and the fridge wasn’t very cold. Breakfast doesn’t have a lot of variety, it’s just bagels or granola bars.

It was super close to the beach, and the beds were comfortable!

Clearly this is the affordable spot . Completely ran down , and a lot of the local homeless hanging out from being kicked out . I had to clean my mirror just to get past the streaks of whoever “wiped it down “

First thing I notice about the property is how it looks way more rundown and outdated than the pictures in the listing show. During our stay there wasn’t very much follow through with making sure the people in the parking lot had a parking pass. It got to the point where I’d purposely not go anywhere if I couldn’t walk there in fear of losing my parking spot, all the while seeing numerous vehicles in the parking lot without a parking pass. Now on to the room. First off, I was very upset at the view of the “turtle pond” from our room. Our floor looked and felt like it had been mopped in cooking oil. Slippery and disgusting and it turned your bare feet black. Now add sand from being at the beach…gross. The furniture in the room looked so old and worn, and the beds were noisy getting into them, due to the piece together metal stand and box springs they were on. Mattresses were soft and comfortable once you were laying completely still.poor ventilation in the shower room has caused some mildew build up on the walls and ceiling. It would do maintenance good to use a bit more bleach water and ventilation every now and then to kill that off. Our water also drained at snail speed and never fully went all the way down which indicates to me a blockage somewhere. Now, I know that everyone is in Panama City to enjoy themselves, and I am a friendly person to those that indulge themselves in getting high, but if this facility is going to be family friendly then it needs to be enforced that way. We had neighbors smoking weed so often that I’m pretty sure I got a contact high from it…and I had my 7 year old son with me who did not ask for that. Not to mention the constant blaring of vulgar music while their room doors were wide open. Listen I’m a “if it’s too loud you’re too old person too sometimes, but there is a time and place and all day and all night is not it. Especially when I could hear it at the bar across the street at one point also.

The location was the best thing about this property. The water pressure and temperature of the water in the bathroom was great also. The lady at the front desk the day we checked in was the sweetest employee I encountered during our entire stay.

The housekeeping could’ve been better. We stayed there for six nights and didn’t have our sheets changed once, when we were told they would be changed at least every three days. The breakfast was fine but there weren’t many options.

I didn't like the fact that I payed on booking.com and when I got there I had to pay more just to stay $27 extra on each room I got which was two rooms so in all $54 and I gave the woman $60 and I got no change back.

Day shif Staff . Late Night open access to anyone to access and knocking doors offering services .?? Bathtub water drain very slow . Sink ,mirror and hair dryer outside bathroom next to the room . ( kinda awkward) Lights flickering. Tv is old and small also channels are kinda blurry and some with static bad sigal . The wall Paint is terrible . Front Door not very secure .and bathroom door make terrible noise when open or close. Last day of stay noticed Cockroaches 🪳 coming out from coffee maker and from dresser 🪳 . Breakfast ok but not very healthy .

I was furious because when I called Booking.com, the agent ASSURED me that I could pay cash for the room when we arrived and that he had made this known at the hotel. When we arrived, they had already put our Visa through and the young lady at checkin told me she had not received any information from the agent at Booking.com. She said they don’t ever inform them if things like this. I also confirmed with the agent the total price of the hotel THREE times and yet when we got to the hotel, we had to pay an extra service fee of $11.00/ night! Why couldn’t he have let me know about this on the phone because it was in tiny writing if one scrolled down after it showed the ‘final’ price in the email. This is sneaky and he lied about making sure we could pay cash instead of our Visa. The breakfast was an apple and coffee only…

No one was at check-in. The unit wouldn't work in the room. The tub was sloped, flaky, and stained. The bed sloped to the middle. No pool is available, although the front desk and website say we could use the pool across the street. No shower was available to wash the sand off from the beach, so sand got everywhere in the room. The night crew was rolling carts in the middle of the night in front of our room. The free breakfast was a joke. It consisted of a dark room with bagels and frozen Eggos with no syrup, and vending machine sausages and biscuits.

The location was about the only good thing about this hotel.

We had a problem with bugs (roaches) in the room. We approached the manager about it and he said that it was water beetles, but I knew that they weren't. We went and bought bug spray, sprayed the room several times but it didn't work.
