Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaCold in basement. Had to use the space heater several times. Was awakened every morning at 5:15 -- squeaky floors on main. Would stay there again. Great location. Would bring warmer clothes for hours in unit.

United States of AmericaThis is our fault, but we didn’t know that the sofa beds had an extension under the couch, so two people in our party were sleeping on cramped beds! again this is totally our fault, but just wanted to let future travelers know that the sofa beds open up to be queen size :)
super good value, three queen beds, spacious bathroom, convenient access and great location. the internet was also quite fast, good for remote work.

United States of AmericaQuiet location, close to shopping and highway. We were at Alta skiing within an hour easily. It is a basement apt and we were worried it would be cold, but space heaters kept it plenty warm. Fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook and eat. Washer and dryer right outside the door and easy to use.

United States of AmericaThe hosts mentioned that they didn’t have some of the basic necessities like paper towels and toilet paper, as well as dish soap; so I had to buy so many additional things than needed. The check-in time is also super late, at 5PM. Which is rather late for me. I wanted to be prepared for an early morning so I didn’t get a chance to check for anything and they have so many things I could have saved money on. Though many things are available, the cleanliness is a slight concern. Drawers, bathroom shelves and kitchen area could use a proper cleaning.
The location was nice and there is definitely plenty of room for a couple or a family with a few kids. The kitchen is filled with everything you can think of, but you just need to find it.

United States of AmericaThe place was very dusty (on top of dressers, tables blinds, in between furniture, light fixtures, heaters) Because the basement was cold, we turned on the electric heaters (coated with layers of dust). Our kids got consistent, terrible coughs and couldn't sleep. We were able to leave them at a family member's house where they recovered. Pad lock continued to get stuck, so we were locked out for a little bit until it would finally let us in.
Staff was friendly and very generous allowing us to check in early and check out late. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was near Salt Lake City, Murray Park, and a lot of other attractions

United States of AmericaI can’t think of anything.
I’m not sure where to start, but I thought it was much better than the price they charged! Even in 104 degree temperatures the apartment was nice and cool, but without the noisy AC unit you’d get at a hotel. I had planned on cooking most of my meals in the kitchen (which has everything you’d need) but the daughter I was visiting had other plans and I only made my breakfasts there. Next time I’ll stick to my plan :) The bed was very comfortable, and the bedroom was quiet. When I stayed it was during the fireworks season, which is verrry long in July, but I didn’t hear them at night. I didn’t hear passing cars, either, the location is in a quiet neighborhood, so that’s wonderful. There are plenty of restaurants close by, lots of shopping, if that’s your thing. Easy access to the Trax system if you want to go downtown and not worry about parking. Tjere is also the Frontrunner train if you want to head down to Provo or up to Ogden. Freeway access is nearby, and it’s only a short drive to the mountains. The owners live upstairs and are available if there are any issues. You might hear them waking around, but I live in a two story house and I’m used to it. If you want to save money by renting this place it’s more than a fair trade off for an entire downstairs apartment. I almost forgot, there are children’s games and my grown daughter and I spent time out of the heat playing Mancala like we used to, and my son, daughter and I played Monopoly and had the best time. I haven’t seen them laugh like that in a long time. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have stayed at the Sweet Spot. I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I will be :)
