Breakfast selection at 7:45 am was somewhat limited. I normally hate reserving with a 3rd party. I wish hotels would show their phone #. However, booking.com (Monday nite) was seamless. I was able to pay at checkin and get a receipt with no hassles.

Location for breakfast was very convenient. I love the balcony. Wish I could have arrived before dark. Very quiet heater/conditioner. This is rare. Very comfortable bed. Real bar soap for the shower! A very pleasant stay. A real value.

Older flooring and mattresses. Nothing disgusting just used and looked it. Mattresses were very soft.

Staff was excellent. Very accommodating and available. Front desk area and breakfast area clean. Food choices were ok … nothing fancy but able to fill your belly and be on your way. Bed mattresses were ok. A little worn in for my standards but again got our short trip they worked out fine. Towels were newer and absorbent .. not luxury towels but better than most places. Easy access to town and to ski area.

No hot water- Luke warm showers both days we were there. We were told by front desk we would receive a credit as they said a boiler unit went out. We still have not received any credit back to the card. The other couple we traveled with received $100 credit already.

Pool was below the lobby. I was on the second floor. I am older and didn't want to climb up 2 sets of stairs. Next time I will get a room on the first floor.

The breakfast omelets and ham was very bad, the biscuits and gravy tasted old.

The staff and place are great, the beds are very cheap so you won't have a great sleep. The hot breakfast could be better, but some of it is just not good.

The bathroom by the pool was not attended to daily. Trash was not emptied for 3 days. There were no towels to dry hands. The outside pool was filled with debris and never cleaned.

The pool was super dirty. We had to use the net ourselves to scoop out bugs etc. There were a couple of dead roaches near the hot tub...

Staff was nice. Breakfast was good. The location is great if you're planning on taking in the sights and visiting various places in Galena.

Bathroom was a little tight quarters, room was a bit dated but could see that it had been partly updated. Curtains had a rip, and wall decor was old. Don't feel that paying extra for a balcony was worth it unless you stay on top floor because ac unit from room balcony above drips water on you while you're sitting in the chairs.

Loved the jacuzzi tub in our room! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. My husband says he could tell the breakfast was made with love. Nice selection of bagels, cereal, hard boiled eggs, hot eggs, biscuits and gravy (delicious), yogurt, orange juice, cranberry juice, milk, and a 24 hour coffee bar. Pool was nice, just small. We ended up spending more time in the room jacuzzi. Room was fairly large and bed was comfortable. We had plenty of towels available.

Breakfast was just ok. Not bad though. We had to ask for more TP. Ours was almost empty and there was not an extra roll in our room. They brought it up right away.

Location was perfect. We wanted something in walking distance to Galena. 15 minute walk. Friendly staff!

Very, very disappointed in the pool area. The pool had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. There was algea on the sides of the pool. The hot tub - ugh. My gut was telling me not to go in there, but I did anyway. I slipped on the first step and tried to grab the hand railing. The railing was not secure, and I fell. Hoping nothing serious. I ended up jamming my foot under the base of the hand railing.

I absolutely loved the room and the staff. The room was so spacious, and the deck area was very relaxing with the woods in the back. The staff was courteous and friendly.
