The Seattle Gaslight Inn is a beautiful place to stay! Joey and Joelle are wonderful hosts and you can feel how much love and effort they put into the place, the location is amazing. We loved our time here!

This was a really special place to stay - a beautiful building, generous hospitality, comfortable and for us, the location was perfect. It’s in a really interesting area, well connected by public transport and walkable to downtown.

Classic vintage home in a great location. The property is over 100 years old and in beautiful condition. The house keeping staff generously provided extra towels etc! The owners were very pleasant and loved their home.

Our stay at the hotel felt like stepping into a movie. The historic building exuded authenticity and atmosphere. Every detail, from the furniture to the decor, oozed charm. Waking up here felt like stepping back in time. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a unique and cozy stay in a historic setting! And big thanks for early check in ❤️

For our room the bathroom was on the floor below. Not a big deal but en suite would be the choice next time.

Great place overall, very nice old house in convenient location. They no longer provide breakfast but there are many good spots nearby. Got a parking pass from host, who allowed us to give it back late on last day after checkout which was very helpful. Walked and took transit all over the city. Nice and safe neighborhood, much better than downtown if you plan on walking around at night. Price is reasonable.

Parking can be hard to find in the area. (The hosts will provide you with a parking pass for a small charge.) The bathroom was pretty tight, with one of those tiny shower enclosures. A fresh coat of paint?

Charming hosts and a happy vibe. Cool old Capital Hill inn with large sitting areas, a white cat in the window, books galore, and friendly people. A quirky stay--so much more fun than a beige corporate hotel. It's the sort of place you might find in a cosy mystery.

No complaints

The location made you feel like you were in a small neighborhood but you were two blocks away from the busy area. The staff was so sweet and made you feel at home. The room was so cute and the kitties made you feel like you were in a friends house. Me and my husband loved it.

It would have been helpful to have a microwave (although the staff did say they would allow us to use the staff's private one the next morning) and more desk room to work (the only table available is the common table where people typically eat at).

I was pleasantly surprised with the amenities, such as the fresh fruit offered for breakfast and the bathroom was really clean and nice. The lobby was a plus with the fire place and different seating areas.

The room we stayed in was lovely, it was just a little tight.

The overall stay at the Seattle Gaslight Inn was lovely. Everyone we came in contact with during our stay (guests and the hosts) were so wonderful. The communal areas were cozy, especially with the fireplace going. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved everything about it. Check out Bakery Nouveau nearby (I’m still dreaming about the croque monsieur), Ada’s Technical Books cafe for great coffee, Spinasse for beautiful Italian food (but book in advance!)

We loved our stay at Seattle Gaslight Inn, we plan to return in future when next in town. Fabulous property in a great location, breakfast was great, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and we loved meeting the cats! For anyone who’s allergic… the cats don’t go upstairs near the guest rooms and they keep to themselves, easy to avoid if needed.

Engagement with the owners, who were personable and accommodating. Relaxed breakfast was enjoyable. We really appreciated being able to leave our bags on check-out day. Location and overall ambience were great. Written guide/recommendations provided were exceptional.

Pretty safe location, even if it's a bit removed from the city center. Delightful owner, who also offered a great breakfast. Two very sweet cats in the hallway. We found the building quite beautiful as well. Our bathroom was shared with only one other couple. The room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The house is stunning. Owners as lovely as you like and super helpful. Location is fab loads of bars and restaurants near. 40min walk to downtown to the market. Really fantastic stay
