Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaCaveat that these are pretty minor wishes. The room was a little too dim, the outlets between the two beds were too close together for 2 iPhone chargers to be used at the same time, and the lack of towel hangers was a little inconvenient. Separately, the drinks at the rooftop bar were super watered down. Too bad because the staff are nice and the ambiance and views are great. We would have come back every night if the drinks were better. I recommend going to Seven (1.5 blocks away).
Decor is cute and vibey, coffee shop on site made mornings easy (with good coffee), hotel was quiet (and I'm a light sleeper), total blackout curtains, elevators were easy, shower had very good water pressure, and the room was spacious. We didn't partake in the mini fridge but I appreciated the reasonably priced and large options. Location was also good and we were able to park on the side streets without paying.

United States of AmericaThe speakeasy was only open Friday and Saturday nights which was a bummer.
I absolutely loved the decor and vibe of the entire hotel. From the wall color to the furniture and the beautiful bathroom and robes, it was a treat to stay here. And for the price, this hotel could not be beat. The bed was extremely comfortable as well! The staff were so accommodating and helpful. The rooftop bar was also picture perfect! The location is ideal in prime NuLu neighborhood with cute shops all around. Highly recommend booking!!

United States of AmericaRoof top bar was a little underwhelming as they were over-crowded and understaffed. At one point the bartenders friend had to step in to help but was promptly kicked out. Experienced the same understaffing in the speakeasy downstairs
Great location. Easy access to multiple distilleries. Loved the liqour store Evergreen liqours next door

United States of AmericaWe loved it here. We tend to choose smaller hotels that are a little quirky and this fit the bill just right. We toured Rabbit Hole distillery right behind it and had dinner across the street at La Bodeguita De Mima ( both were awesome). We finished the night upstairs at Bar Genevieve talking with others about everyone's distillery tours, super fun. We'd definitely stay here again.

United States of AmericaNothing was bad at all.
This practically new boutique hotel was a great stay for my 2 nights for work, and reasonably priced too. From the time I checked in, until my departure, the staff was always SO helpful. Khadijah, Kennedy, Unique and Cache were very friendly, gave great recommendations on restaurants in the area (check out the Cuban place across the street), and took good of my car with their valet service too (I loved the in/out privileges). My room was also on the 6th (top) floor and had amazing views of the city skyline and sunsets. I love having natural light in my room too, and the 6th floor bar had amazing views of the city as well. Beds were comfy, the shower had great water pressure, and the cafe downstairs has GREAT coffee and a breakfast sandwich too. I will be back the next time I do business in Louisville; that's for sure!

United States of AmericaThe housekeeping wasn’t consistent. Day 1: cleaned and fresh towels, Day 2: fresh towels, Day 3: nothing! We can accept the no-place-to-hang-towels, and cavalierly toss them on the ( very nice) tile floor; but then they should be replaced daily, which they weren’t. Kleenex in the bathroom was stingy, we had to use TP. Parking is a bit challenging unless valet is used.
Clean sleek style, nice blend of slightly French with funky modern. Staff friendly, nice location for a vaca. Breakfast in the hotel cafe was excellent. Rooftop lounge is great, especially the outdoor fireplace. We will stay again, but some housekeeping needs work.
