I have dietary restrictions. I was told that they could substitute one item for another; however my food came out with the food item I couldn’t have mixed in with the other. Accidents do happen but wanted to make aware for purposes of the staff learning that dietary restrictions can be serious and not always a preference.

The bathroom was a little dirty. You need to CLR the faucets and bathtub. The bed was also kind of uncomfortable.

Only one thing... it would be so nice if the facing out windows glasses were clean to enjoy the view better.

The location was perfect and beautiful the entrance of the hotel face the traffic circle where a big beautiful Christmas tree was placed. I traveled with my kids first time to Gettysburg Couple of restaurants and nice stores where accessible, the parking lot behind the hotel was a plus. The front desk agent Tryton was so friendly, fast to process the checking and very professional. All the staff that I interacted with was super nice always smiling and welcoming. I requested to Tryton a room with a view and a microwave and I got my request right away with not hesitation. I liked how the hotel was decorate for Christmas time so I wanted to take a family picture using my phone timer and suddenly a young man of the room service staff was walking by and stoped to do what he was doing and offered to take our family picture., that was so sweet and kind. The 2 ladies bartenders were fun and friendly. To have a fireplace inside the room was delightful. The others guests I meet in the hall, lobby or elevator were very friendly and I feel safe during all my stay. We were so welcomed during our 3 days in the hotel.

When I got there they said they didn’t have a king available and had to give me 2 queens . I booked this room months in advanced so I don’t understand why I didn’t get a king size bed

I really can't think of anything to improve.

Great location! The hotel is at the very center of town with fun shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable from the lobbies (bar/Starbucks) to the rooms. Parking was extra but safe and very easily accessible. We thought about cheaper motels outside of the town center and are glad we chose to stay at the Gettysburg Hotel instead. I also need to compliment the staff. We arrived at 2:00 in the morning and the staff was friendly and waiting for us!

I know this has been a thing since COVID, but I wish that mini fridges came in all the rooms. I know I could have asked, but for what we paid for the room, it should already be there.

The location is fantastic! I love being right in the center of town, especially at the holidays. And the hotel itself is great for when you need a break from all that eating and shopping!

We didn’t have any hot water! It was difficult to regulate the room temperature.

Breakfast was not included but we loved it anyway. The location was superb. We’ll be back again. The ghost stories were a lot of fun. One of the elevators has a mind of its own—it’s haunted!

Shower took 5 minutes to get warm and not setup real well with the faucet on the other side. Room did not have a refrigerator, ice machine not on the 3rd floor but we made due. View was nice but windows needed cleaned.

No free parking, you must pay to park in a nearby parking ramp. They have the typical heavy room doors that slam for those too lazy/inconsiderate to guide them closed. You will hear and feel everyone on your floor entering/leaving their rooms.

Historic. Excellent location to walk to many options for eating, browsing small shops and visiting other historic sites.
