The view from 09 room is mediocre but that's ok. The rooms are wonderful. The restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Some great dishes some soso. The valet was awesome.

Only 1 elevator worked, so there was a lot of time spent waiting to get to room or back to lobby. A lot of time I just took the stairs.

When light is on in bathroom at night it shines on sleepers in the adjacent bed through translucent wall in shower. Perhaps night light?

Shower water pressure was extremely low, but it's my understanding from the staff it couldn't be adjusted in a historical building during the remodel.

The light on the coffee maker flashed on and off all night. I should have unplugged it.

The location was perfect for my concert at The Norva. I felt well taken care of and looked after during my stay. Every employee that I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and functional too. The fitness room was wonderful and very clean. Breakfast was delicious! I'm looking for a reason to come back to NOrfolk again so I can stay at The Glass Light!

The Glass Light Hotel is a beautiful, boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Norfolk. We had a corner room on an upper floor and the space was very clean and comfortable. The staff members were top notch! We would definitely stay again.

I was not a fan of the room I received on this occasion. 407. The bed is right at the door when you walk in. You hear the elevator and everyone using the elevator at all hours. The street noise in this room was also very loud. I had to keep my tv on all night in order to sleep. I’ve never had this experience at this hotel previously.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times now. It’s in a great location, and it’s a beautiful hotel in general. Excellent staff across the board.

The room was cold when we first checked in. After turning up the heat, the room warmed up but there was still a super cold draft in the bathroom. Should’ve designed heating ducks to be in there as well.

Excellent location in Norfolk downtown. Lot's of GREAT restaurants and attractions walking distance from hotel. Beautiful boutique hotel features glass art collection. Hotel restaurant is amazing and offers french cuisine. We had a memorable anniversary weekend getaway. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I guess my only complaint was the units signage on the building. We ended up driving around the block a few times before we looked up and saw the sign. Nothing at eye level identified the place, which is probably a me problem. But thst would be my only complaint

We were met with staff offering to assist. The front desk gentleman gave us a rundown of the hotel since it was our first time. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful.
