Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the prices for our stay this year increased quite a bit (and they now charge $10 a day for parking) but the overall quality of the hotel hasn't really changed all that much. Our room smelled musty, the refrigerator wasn't on when we arrived (I had to turn up the dial as soon as we walked in and wait a while for it to finally get cold), The shower gel dispenser was empty, the fan in the bathroom didn't work and the overall room quality was just so-so. Also, after 3 years the restaurant/bar (which was part of the original Holiday Inn) still hasn't opened but we were told it should finally be finished by the end of this year?
This is our 3rd year in a row staying at the Glendale Express while in town for a music festival. The prices increased quite a bit this year but the property as a whole is still undergoing a very slow renovation. The location is great, the staff are all very nice and acommodating, the lobby is cute and there is plenty of parking.

I wasn’t able to watch TV because it had to be hooked up to your cell phone and Wi-Fi. It would’ve been better just to have a remote to watch local channels second the breakfast was just a pop tart and coffee. It would be nice if they could offer rolls or cereal, something else, in addition
The only problem with the location was there were no restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel itself didn’t have a restaurant so I pretty much lived on a muffin, bananas and protein drink

Outdated rooms/bathroom. Hallways smell like cigarettes.
The property was in a great area. Free parking available on the street if needed. Front desk was helpful and kind. It's not the most up to date hotel but for the price it did the job.

TV would not connect as described. An upgrade to a larger, mounted smart TV would make a great difference. Breakfast was just pop tarts.
Easy access off the freeway and clean , quiet, comfortable rooms. Nicely designed lobby with comfortable, welcoming seating. Convenient snack options for purchase.

Unfortunately, we were able to hear a lot of stomping or running on top of us constant 😕, not able to see regular cable channels having to contect with my device.

The "kitchenette" was a microwave.. no cutlery, no dishes or glassware. Fridge was barely even cold and had water leaking out of it. Air conditioner was incredibly noisy.
The staff were friendly, the decor retro and fun, room as clean, the CVS vending machine also a great addition

No mainstream TV, just the facility to down load your streaming service onto the tv, and not all U.K streaming sites would download Rooms only cleaned if booked in advance at reception

The rooms are a little tired and we couldn't work the light switches. The kettle was funky, but everything worked
The room was comfortable with a great view, especially at night. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Coffee and pop tarts for breakfast was brilliant. There was a fridge in the room. It was very reasonably priced

Parking gets full hotel should utilize all the unused space they have and open more parking spaces in front parking lot.

It's an older building so be aware that the facilities might take a little bit longer to work
